The Pulpit is a 600m tall cliff located near Stavanger, Norway that attracts around 100,000 tourists annually. To reach the top, visitors hike for about 2 hours up a well-built but steep path from a parking area located at 270m altitude. The top of the cliff features a nearly flat 25m by 25m plateau that offers breathtaking views of the Lysefjorden fjord below, but is not fenced off, requiring visitors to exercise caution given the sheer drop-offs. Proper clothing and footwear are recommended for the physically demanding climb.
