within the statutory period. Mailings to owners responding to first notices identifying drivers in

Scope: The Memphis Fire Department recognized the need to not only replace outdated CAD
and radio equipment, but to explore options in data and records system management that would
allow the Division of Fire Services the means to conduct true business analysis of the agency.
Overall, the proposed Computer-Aided Dispatch system will provide the Memphis Fire
Department with the latest technologies related to mapping, dispatching, as well as records and
data management to improve our capacity to meet rising demands for service in the metropolitan
area. More importantly, the acquisition of the new CAD and the various components of Records
Management, Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL),Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs),Geospatial
Information System (GIS) mapping, analysis, modelling etc. will allow for more effective
allocation and deployment of resources for each service center of the Fire Department.
The CAD system will be used to dispatch Fire and EMS units to calls for service, manage
resources,create and maintain records, and to provide a method of exchanging data with various
other databases. Tritech along with City of Memphis will provide an effective, efficient and

Scope: Currently,all applicants apply for City jobs via Oracle iRecruitment and the management
of the employment application is done via Sigma software application. The Sigma server is
HOUSED IN the City's data center and a daily interface runs between Oracle and Sigma to ensure
Oracle is kept up the date with employment data. The Sigma vendor has phased out support of
Sigma app and is mandating its customer base to upgrade to the Neogov application in order to
maintain support. Neogov is a much more robust and comprehensive app and will be used
entirely for the City's new employment management system.

4. ZLA Customer Success Cases
FedExCorporation is an American global courier delivery Services Company headquartered in
Memphis, Tennessee. With more than 300,000 employees, FedEx is recognized as a Fortune 100
company (2012) and the world's largest airline in terms of freight tons flown. FedEx keeps supply chains
moving by providing end-to-end services including international air and ocean freight forwarding,
customs brokerage, distribution and trade facilitation solutions.
Project FedEx hired ZLA for software development services,in order to create a module called
Brokerage Module. This specific module had the purpose of payments of duties and taxes to the local
government for each Latin American country where operations were held. The module had to be an
extension of the current platform of the company named FGC, a system that was being developed for a
couple of years by a software development unit located in Santiago, Chile.
FedEx needed a new application to manage the brokerage of all packages moving into Latin America.
This new application replaced a series of legacy system applications and it integrated with the new core
FedEx application that was also being developed. Agile methodologies (SCRUM) were used for the
development and the team was composed as follows: ScrumMaster, Architect, Product Owner,4
developers, 2 QA Testers and 1 customs expert.

5. BrinksCompany is a security and protection company headquartered outside of Richmond,
Virginia, United States. Its international network serves customers in more than 100 countries and
employs approximately 70,000 people. Operations include approximately 1,100 facilities, and 13,300
vehicles.
ZLA provides to Brinks software application development and maintenance services for multiple ongoing
projects. The main objective of the projects is to create an integration platform of the Latin American
countries to the headquarter platform. This platform integration is done by Azure Service Bus and it
integrates all the operative, logistic and administrative processes.
ZLA deployed 30 engineers for their multiple projects, adopting agile (Scrum) methodologies and
customized feature driven development.
Project Compusafe is the centralization of all CompuSafes platforms throughout the LATAM region. A
series of web services was deployed to gather all the information from regional CompuSafe hubs and the
CompuSafe devices themselves. All of this information was loaded into the system, and now customers
from any region have one single place to visit and view the status of their CompuSafes. Therefore,this is
a monitoring system for the CompuSafe products.
Project Lead 2 Cash: ZLA has been creating a new Service Bus for Brink’s integration projects of the
newly acquired Oracle eBusiness Suite and each country’s own legacy systems. Lead2Cash is a project
where this Service Bus is utilized to integrate the necessary systems to fulfill the Lead to Cash process
within Brinks. It is the integration of Colombia’s legacy systems with the new Oracle eBusiness Suite for
the Lead to Cash process. This project pilot started in Colombia and it will be replicated to the rest of the
LATAM region.
Project Unifi integrates administrative and operational data in the platform (payments, invoicing, product
portfolios, accounts receivable, employee info, etc).

Since 2012, ZLA deployed severalteams,ranging in total between 40 to 50 people to attend multiple
software development, integration and maintenance necessities. The developments cover corporate
applications under .Net technologies, using HTML 5 and CSS 3 for the presentation layer. The projects
are done under agile SCRUM methodologies and Kanban, and covers various geographic destinations.

Project CWS (Contingent Workforce Services): This project consists in migrating a 10 year old

Currently, due to the old technology, the application is difficult to maintain. This application manages the
administration of candidates to fulfill the different teams in the projects of Deloitte consulting. Also, this
online app, facilitates the user queries, the selection of candidates, expenses,approvals and automatic
payments.

Project Mobile Digital Project: Develop an iOS application of advertising and promotions. The
purchasing and browser/email history is used to notify the users of promotions that might interest them in
the nearby stores that they are in.

Project Corporate Citizenship was a project to create a corporative site that would register the social
activities of the employees of the company and their partners.
This new application was to replace a series of legacy system applications and it was to be integrated with
the new core Deloitte applications that are being developed. The scope of the work done included
analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and system integration testing and maintenance support.
From a technological perspective, the application is 100% web environment and hosted in Deloitte’s data
centers in the USA.

Project Valuation Tracker:ZLA investigated in the market and identified a web platform that would
allow to manage the effort done by auditors. This was done through benchmarking. Additionally, ZLA
developed and implemented different functionalities that the tool did not have, and that would meet
Deloitte specific necessities.

7. Project Human Capital. This was an existing application created in Sharepoint that needed to be migrated
to a more robust, flexible and scalable solution. Also, new functionalities needed to be added to enhance
Deloitte´s needs.

Alabama Farmers Federation, Alfa has earned a reputation as one of the nation's most stable, reliable and
affordable providers of insurance. Alfa´s property and casualty insurance company, and also the life
insurance company are rated A (Excellent) by the A.M. Best Company, the foremost authority on
insurance companies' financial stability.
Project ZLA was selected to staff engineering teams in the Microsoft .NET technology stack that would
help in the process of developing and maintaining software products for Alfa Insurance. The services
include the development of a front end web portal to consolidate agents with retail customers. The
application needed to have a good design and user experience and be connected with the existing back
end.
This application is understood to be MVC with Entity Framework and SQL Server DB. ZLA established
screen mocking considering its usability and then implemented JavaScript Frameworks (like Angular)
that allowed a good implementation on mobile devices without native coding.
