La Fageda is a social enterprise in Spain that aims to employ mentally ill people by offering them real jobs. After 30 years, 95% of mentally ill people in Spain remain unemployed, but in La Fageda's region all patients have a job. La Fageda employs 270 people, has 500 cows, $15 million in annual turnover, and seeks to create new jobs through dairy products and other activities. The organization reinvests profits into the company and workforce to develop an inclusive model of employment for the mentally ill. A leader is needed who is good at business and committed to social awareness.

2. The propose of La Fageda is to take mentally ill people out of psychiatric hospitals, to offer them a real job –in an enterprise- and through this help to restore their self-esteem…

3. After 30 years, 95% of mentally ill people in Spain remain jobless, although in our region la Garrotxa (with the population of 55.000 inhabitants) all such patients have a job, now.
