1) Students will work in groups to design a map of an imaginary city including street names and locations of places like hotels, museums, parks etc. 2) Two students will imagine having a hotel in the city and write directions to it in a PowerPoint presentation. 3) Two other students will pretend to call the hotel as lost tourists and have a conversation asking for and receiving directions using vocabulary from the unit. 4) When giving directions, students must include places, prepositions, sentences with imperatives, mentions of public transportation and statements with have to/don't have to.
