This document discusses monitoring electricity consumption through a management and energy system (MES). The MES measures actual electricity consumption values by counting impulses from over 100 measuring points for 20 clients. It also predicts short-term consumption, compares usage to diagrams to detect alarms or trends, and calculates the power factor. A block scheme is provided to explain the full system.

Goal of this project was except counting of impulses executed MES funcionality - energetic balance for all client's. (more then 100 measuring point's, about 20
client's)
MES funcionality:
- measure actual value (time diferences between impulse)
- measure predicton of the consumption (15 minutes, 1 hours ... )
- comparing consumption with diagram and it's alarming and trending
- calculating the power factor
