Acute effect of tmof against op polinators not transformedentogenex
TMOF is a peptide that inhibits trypsin production in mosquitoes. This study tested the acute effects of TMOF formulations (wettable powder and rice husk) and the biopesticide Ecobac-1 on three populations of the oil palm pollinator Elaeidobius kamerunicus. Results showed that TMOF and Ecobac-1 caused no significant mortality of the pollinators after one week of exposure, while the chemical insecticide cypermethrin caused 100% mortality. This suggests that TMOF and Ecobac-1 are safe alternatives to chemical insecticides for controlling pests in oil palms without harming the important pollinator E. kamerunic
The document is a PowerPoint about the Coventry Kite Festival by Ayrton and Ashleigh. The kite festival takes place annually in Coombe Abbey and brings together people of all ages to fly their homemade kites. Activities include kite displays, competitions, fairground rides, street performers, and bands. While appealing to all ages, the festival focuses on wholesome family fun in a safe and accessible environment. This year, the festival is relying solely on independent funding as it no longer receives funding from the city council.
Some key points:
- Facilitating GIS supports communication processes by making geographic data viewable, while participatory GIS removes expert dependence by empowering public participation.
- Moving from facilitating to participatory involves sharing responsibilities between experts and the public regarding decisions that impact the living environment.
- Benefits of participatory GIS include more transparency, public influence, involvement and satisfaction, while risks include potential information overload, loss of interest, misinterpretations and high costs. Success requires focus on communication, collaboration support and user-friendly tools.

This presentation was given on 2/28/2012 at the Santa Barbara Drupal User Group at the Santa Barbara Hacker Space.
Presentations: Building Multilanguage Websites with Localization, Internationalization and Domain
Our presenter is Steven Rifkin (@stevenator), a Los Angeles-based Drupal consultant and site architect with Exaltation of Larks (@LarksLA). Just off a recent project involving 4 domains and 7 languages in one Drupal installation, Steve will be covering basic module installation all the way up to the advanced language integration techniques.
If time permits he will also include the use of the Domain suite of modules with Internationalization and what pitfalls they may present. The presentation will begin with a discussion of the current state of Internationalization in Drupal 7 and the debate of field vs. node translations.
While we will be discussing both Drupal 6 & 7, the examples and final demo will be in Drupal 6. We will then open the floor to questions and try to give as many version specific answers as time permits.
The following modules will be demonstrated and discussed:
Locale
Internationalization
Translation (String, Block, Menu, Taxonomy)
Domain Access
Domain Alias
Domain Locale
Domain Internationalization

Field tests show MOUSTIcide can control mosquito populations for up to 4 weeks and help reduce dengue outbreaks. EntoGeneX also produces Moustique, a natural insect repellent made from wild tomatoes that protects against mosquito bites for up to 8 hours. Both products are considered safer alternatives to conventional insecticides and repellents.
The document provides information about upcoming events and activities at Fort Riley for the month of December:
- Winter bus service details are provided for middle and high school students.
- Details are given about a $1.7 million intersection replacement project at Trooper and Rifle Range starting in April 2013.

PHP code may be embedded into HTML code, or it can be used in combination with various Web template systems and web frameworks. PHP code is usually processed by a PHP interpreter implemented as a module in the web server or as a Common Gateway Interface (CGI) executable. The web server combines the results of the interpreted and executed PHP code, which may be any type of data, including images, with the generated web page. PHP code may also be executed with a command-line interface (CLI) and can be used to implement standalone graphical applications.[6]
