Our crime drama trailer was roughly the same as our original idea, keeping some elements like a chase between two police officers trying to crack a case, but changing the circumstances of the victim's death and clues. We included typical crime drama conventions to make it convincing, drawing from shows we had watched in class. Feedback on the trailer was mixed - some technical aspects like camera work were good, but the story, titles, and special effects needed improving. As a group, we worked well together and were pleased with how the trailer turned out overall.
The document announces upper-level Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies courses starting in Fall 2011 at Capilano University. It states that current, returning, and new students can apply by logging into the student information system and requesting a change in program status. It provides contact information for the program and advertises upcoming information sessions on Thursdays in March and April for interested students to learn more about the Liberal Studies program.
The document summarizes the origins and celebrations of Cinco de Mayo. On May 5, 1862, a small Mexican force led by General Ignacio Zaragoza defeated a larger French army at the Battle of Puebla, though Mexico ultimately lost the war. In the U.S., Mexican Americans celebrate with folk dancing, mariachi music, Mexican food and drinks, and displays of the Mexican flag to commemorate the patriotism and unity shown in Mexico's brief victory over France.
This document outlines common paradigms and tropes found in horror films, including isolated rural settings like woods and countryside, the use of bladed weapons that inflict slow deaths, teenage victims or families, and a killer or monster character that is often male and never truly dies at the end of the film. It also notes the use of non-diegetic sound to set mood and common character archetypes like the promiscuous girl who is punished versus the surviving virgin.
The document outlines 3 steps in the production of a double page magazine spread. In step 1, the designer created their own spread without inspiration from other magazines, though there was unused space. They used columns and bold headings, with a large central image. In step 2, they enlarged the main heading, added the magazine name to each bottom, moved text down, and included another bold heading to use more space. In step 3, they added a signature to give it a final touch.
The document summarizes key aspects of the Industrial Revolution from 1750 to 1850 including:
- Urbanization as people migrated from rural to urban areas for work in factories rather than relying on themselves.
- Agricultural advances that increased crop yields and pushed for industrial changes to make tasks easier.
- Textiles as the first industry to boom, helped by Eli Whitney's cotton gin.
- James Watt's improved steam engine providing better transportation.
- Henry Bessemer's process making steel cheaper through a new production method.

The trailer provides key information towards the end such as the names of actors and release date to incentivize viewers to watch the film. Short clips and sequences are used to introduce characters and tell the story at a fast pace that builds suspense. Familiar music and styles are incorporated to immerse the audience in the world of the film.
This document discusses how a media product represents social groups and would attract an audience. It also considers what kind of media institution would distribute the product and what has been learned from the construction process. Specifically, the document examines how the product uses or challenges real media conventions, portrays particular audiences, would address its demographic, and what technologies were learned in creating the final project.

The simplified electron and muon model, Oscillating Spacetime: The Foundation...RitikBhardwaj56
Discover the Simplified Electron and Muon Model: A New Wave-Based Approach to Understanding Particles delves into a groundbreaking theory that presents electrons and muons as rotating soliton waves within oscillating spacetime. Geared towards students, researchers, and science buffs, this book breaks down complex ideas into simple explanations. It covers topics such as electron waves, temporal dynamics, and the implications of this model on particle physics. With clear illustrations and easy-to-follow explanations, readers will gain a new outlook on the universe's fundamental nature.
How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
