2. Before I started the MCBS Program I had recently graduated with a degree in
fashion design, with a strong interest in gaining more experience with
journalism.

3. I HAD ALWAYS THOUGHT I WANTED TO BE AN OVERALL
PACKAGE TO BE A DESIGNER, IMAGE CONSULTANT, DANCER,
MAGAZINE COPYWRITER, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, SONGWRITER,
AND THE NEXT "IT" BOY ON THE SOCIAL MEDIA SCALE.

4. With my head full of vivid dreams, but then reality set in, thinking to myself how
could I possibly make more of a reality out of my fantasies.

5. LOTS OF EXPERIENCE MULTITASKING AND STRATEGIC
PLANNING I FOUND MYSELF LOSING TOUCH WITH MYSELF.

6. Attempting to take on too many new tasks from school, work, interning,
basic survival of an independent teenager I began straying away from
my ideal goals.

7. I BEGAN READING " THE SECRET", LEARNING TO THINK POSITIVELY, SPEAK THINGS INTO
EXISTENCE, I CREATED A DETAILED VISION BOARD OF MY GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS, FOLLOWED
BY A CHECKLIST OF SHORT TERM GOALS ARRANGING THEM BY PRIORITY WITH RESOURCES TO
ACCOMPLISHING THEM.

8. The book opened my eyes to an entire new way of living, just directed me back
on the path that I once was on.

9. Because of that I have a well thought, realistic way to incorporate almost 15
years combined total of dance training, sewing, blogging, story writing,
foreign languages, copywriting, song writing, and styling into a career
of substance.

10. Having depth, an open mind, accepting denial, and learning from trial and error I
have grown mentally, physically, financially, and spiritually.

11. NOW I HAVE COME TO THAT EPIC PEAK OF MATURITY WHERE
I AM READY TO BEGIN THE REST OF MY LIFE.

12. Step one was In what ways could I use my last degree to assist in paying for my next
degree was my initial thought?

13. I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT TO MYSELF I DO NOT WANT TO BE
THAT ARTIST THAT WORKS JUST FOR MONEY, I WANT TO
CREATE , EVOLVE INTO SOMETHING UNEXPLAINABLE.

14. Using what has already been engrained within me skill and knowledge wise to
bring in more income at first seemed challenging but learning to think from
the perspective of a consumer not just a creator has been outstanding.

15. BECAUSE OF THAT I INTERNED WITH 5 AMAZING DESIGNERS IN ATLANTA, BEGAN FREELANCE
COPYWRITING, AS WELL AS PROMOTING/NETWORKING MYSELF THUS OPENING MY EYES TO A NEW
CIRCUIT OF FASHION, MEDIA, AND ART ON A NATIONAL SCALE.

16. Interning is an amazing experience learning what has made someone successful,
what could be done differently, just gaining advice and direct critiques from
individuals in the exact place I want to be.

17. I THOUGHT TO MYSELF WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT? WHAT ARE MY STRENGTHS /
WEAKNESSES? IN 10 YEARS HOW WOULD I WANT MY BIOGRAPHY AND RESUME TO LOOK? HOW
DO I SEE MYSELF? WHERE DO I SEE MYSELF? HOW DO I WANT THE WORLD TO SEE ME?

18. Just my overall impact and how a degree in media communications could
take me there.

19. I WANT TO CHANNEL MY INNER SUPERHERO TAKING ON NEW OBSTACLES CONSTANTLY , JUST BECOMING AS
MULTIDIMENSIONAL AS I COULD EVER IMAGINE.

20. Because of that I immediately wanted to emerge myself in my education, just being
relieved of the full-time working student lifestyle I was quite hesitant
Until finally I searched for a degree that would give me ample public relations,
marketing, journalism experience.

21. THE CONVENIENCE OF ONLINE CLASSES WERE GREAT WAY TO DELEGATE MORE TIME
TO WORK AND SCHOOL WITHOUT THE ISSUE OF COMMUTING TO SCHOOL.

22. The commute has always been the issue, as talented as I am I still have yet to
master the task of parallel parking.

23. I STUMBLED ACROSS A MASTER’S DEGREE IN NEW MEDIA JOURNALISM, AFTER EXPLAINING MY GOALS TO MY
ADMISSIONS IT WAS SUGGESTED I START WITH MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS.

24. I hope to use this degree to package myself so that I can use these skills to
package and deliver more like myself.

25. THIS DEGREE IS LIKE THE CHERRY ON THE SUNDAE, IT WILL HELP BE ONE STEP CLOSER TO THE GOAL OF
HAVING A MASTERS DEGREE.

26. Ever since I decided to pursue my passion for media my plans have been unfolding,
step one was starting school over.

27. I KNOW I AM CLOSER TO MY GOALS, FAR FROM DONE COMPLETELY GROWING THIS DEGREE IS ANOTHER
CHAPTER OF EXPERIENCE.

28. Many of my other priorities have fallen into place and I am very excited to see
what more time, dedication, and persistence will bring.
