The performance explored the relationship between movement and sound through dance and an installation of spiraling wood that filled the gallery space. Four dancers incorporated the installation into their performance by moving around the room and mimicking the movement of the wood, while also making sounds into the wood that responded to each other. During the performance, the audience was invited to put their ears to the wood to experience the vibrations and looping sounds being carried throughout the installation, gaining a new understanding of the purpose of sound and its relationship to movement. The unique multi-sensory experience stimulated audiences visually and through sound, leaving them buzzing with feedback and having experienced something that engaged their full body.
