A survey was conducted of 31 people in 3 locations in Leeds city about their eating out habits. The majority of respondents were young people aged 18-30. Most people eat out once or twice a week, with the most common reasons being that cooking at home is troublesome or they want to experience different cuisines. The most popular places to eat out are restaurants, cafes, and student unions. While most people think cooking at home is necessary due to lower costs and better nutrition, they still enjoy eating out, especially in the evenings with friends.
