Ideas for virtual exchange projects?
-Use Voicethread to do a literary study over the course of the school year.
-Do a community service project and share/discuss the value of the experience
with your sister school.
-Teach each other how to write business letters, e-mails, etc. and organize guest
speakers for Skype conferences.

Acceptable Use Policy for Technology Devices
in French Class

Dear French Students,
You are permitted to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) to class. This means you can
bring a cell phone, an iTouch, an iPad, a laptop, etc. to use in class for Frenchrelated work.
Below are some expectations that all French students must meet to have the
privilege of using a device in the classroom setting. If these expectations are not
met on a daily basis, disciplinary action may result.
It is my hope that use of a technology device in class will add value to your
language learning experience and better prepare you for life beyond Hammond.
Sincèrement,
Madame Vogel
=========================================================
EXPECTATIONS
1. Respect all Hammond School policies regarding technology
use on campus.
2. Use your device for French-related work only.
3. Refrain from playing games in class unless they teach you
the French & Francophone language and culture.
4. Post content that is relevant to the course objectives and
that demonstrates sensitivity towards the opinions of others.
5. Keep your device on silent at all times.
=========================================================
*This is not all inclusive.
Networking leads to great
opportunities for collaboration
between schools around the world!
Help your students become
global citizens today!
