Presentation of the KansaiScene API at #kansaimashapp

Editor's Notes

  • #2 Hello and Good morning everyone. Today I will be taking a few minutes of your time to talk about the KansaiScene API.
  • #3 My name is Martin Heidegger. I am local web engineer. … and … I have the honour to talk today about the KansaiScene API … because … I am the one you can blame for all the mistakes and typo’s.
  • #4 Okay, please keep that in mind… because I have a disclaimer: The API is in its first version. Its made in the wake of this event so you will be the firsts to touch it and have a chance to play with it.
  • #5 The documentation can be found online and you can dive into it right away. Now, to smooth the process, I want to ease the way a little for you.
  • #6 First: A small thing but easy to get stuck in: The API docs contain examples of request and response data but you have to click on “Show”
  • #7 Second big thing: Before we can access it, its important to know that there are two different keys.
  • #14 Another important concept: The lists and the detailed data is separated. So first you have to get the id’s using a list method like ‘articles’ and then get the detail data using ‘article’.
  • #15 There is a branding guide!
