Boys Like Girls is a rock band formed in 2005 in Boston, Massachusetts consisting of Martin Johnson, Paul DiGiovanni, Bryan Donahue, and John Keefe. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2006 which included the singles "Hero/Heroine", "The Great Escape", and "Thunder". Their second album "Love Drunk" was released in 2009 and featured the singles "Love Drunk", "She's Got a Boyfriend Now", and "Two Is Better Than One".

3. The group was initially formed in 2005, when Martin Johnson wrote a handful of songs he wanted to record. He started with Bryan & John. John brought Paul, whom he had recorded a brief demo with. The group later changed their name to Boys Like Girls.

4. On August 22 2006, the Boys Like Girls record was released. The singles were “Hero/Heroine”, “The Great Escape” & “Thunder”. By August 2008, the album has sold over 580,000 copies within the US
