located in the south of the
island of Great Britain
and near the River
Thames.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
 London is the capital city of England and the United
Kingdom. With 8,308,369 residents, London is the
most populous region, standing on the River
Thames, London’s ancient core, the City of London,
largely retains its 1.12-square-mile. It is the smallest
city in England.
 London is a leading global city, with strengths in the
arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion,
finance, healthcare, media, professional services,
research and development, tourism and transport.

 London has diverse peoples and cultures and more

 London is a lovely place to visit, because there are a lot
of beautiful things to see. It is awsome, because you
can the Big Ben. You can see the London eye.

 London has a temperate oceanic climate. Winters
are generally chilly to cold with frost usually
occurring twice a week from November to March.

 London is a popular centre for tourism, London attracts
over 14 million international visitors for year, and the ten
most-visited attractions in London are:

 Tate Modern
 National Gallery
 Natural History Museum

 Victoria and Albert Museum
 Madame Tussauds
 National Maritime Museum
 London's most popular sport is football and it has
fourteen League football clubs.
LANDSCAPES
 The capital is home to eight beautiful Royal Parks,
including Hyde Park, St James's Park and Richmond Park.
There is also Hampstead Heath in North London, with
amazing views over the city.
 I will visit one of London's best gardens such as Kew or
Chelsea Physic Garden.
 London has the best theatre scene in the world.
 I will enjoy the landscape.

 I can go to Leighton House Museum, Buckingham
Palace, London Zoo, and Monument.
 Also, I can go to watch a West End musical, drink in a
speakeasy, Ministry of Sound, Comedy Store and art
house cinema.
 I will know The Big Ben, and National Gallery.
 In London I will visit

buildings and The
London Eye is the tallest
Ferris wheel in Europe.
 London is a diverse and
exciting city with some
of the world's best sights
and attractions.
 I will go to the Royal

 In my personal opinion, I enjoy to be there, people are
