The document compares two mind mapping tools, Mindmeister and Bubbl.us. Mindmeister allows importing pictures but maps can become cluttered, while Bubbl.us does not support pictures but makes it easy to create and rearrange blocks without clutter. Both tools have free basic plans and allow exporting maps. However, the document concludes that Bubbl.us is easier to use and more suitable for complex maps without confusing ideas, ranking it above Mindmeister.

This document describes the development of a contents page layout for a school magazine. It discusses three drafts:
The first draft divides the page into sections for the title, contents list, and images at the bottom in a film strip style. It uses the same font and gray color scheme as the front cover.
Feedback on the second draft recommended adding more images to fill empty space. The author added three images in the center.
The final draft changes the title to white for better visibility and uses a lighter gray for the page numbers so they do not stand out as much. The author feels the industrial theme was achieved.

The document discusses strategies for managing assessment workload and improving student satisfaction. It notes that increased class sizes and staff reductions have led to higher marking loads for teachers. Several factors also put pressure on assessment, including modularization, a diverse student population, and academic integrity issues. The status quo is no longer sufficient and changes are needed to assessment approaches to decrease workload, improve learning, and increase satisfaction while maintaining standards. The document recommends strategies like reducing assessment loads, using marking guides, and streamlining feedback to address these issues.
The document compares the online document sharing platforms Zoho and Google Docs. Zoho allows for file sharing and communication features, and requires administrator supervision. Google Docs allows users to create, upload and edit documents online and share by invitation only. Both platforms offer advantages like collaboration and real-time editing, but Zoho may be overwhelming for students due to its many features, while Google Docs provides a simpler way for teachers to assign group work. The author recommends Google Docs for classroom use due to its ease of learning.
Simple checklist for content creation - mind mapEtarget SK
1. The document provides a checklist of content marketing strategies for developing new content, including pitching to journalists, creating landing pages, blog posts, ebooks, presentations, and newsletters.
2. It encourages writing down ideas for how to utilize newly created content across different channels.
3. An example is given of how one might take a checklist they created and distribute it in various ways, such as to journalists in different countries, creating it as an ebook, using it for an upcoming presentation, and sending it to customers and partners.
This document discusses rubrics, including what they are, why they are used, different types of rubrics, and steps for developing and implementing rubrics. A rubric is defined as a set of criteria that specifies the characteristics and levels of achievement for an outcome. Rubrics provide consistency in evaluation, gather rich assessment data, and allow for direct measurement of learning. There are two main types of rubrics: analytic rubrics that evaluate each criterion separately, and holistic rubrics that provide a single overall score. Developing an effective rubric involves identifying learning outcomes, determining assessment methods, choosing dimensions and performance levels, writing clear descriptors, testing the rubric, and training raters.
The document discusses knowledge management solutions offered by www.4mproject.com and www.davinci-studio.co.uk. The solutions include an e-learning platform, dedicated educational materials like courses and knowledge pills, and workshops on creating e-learning scenarios. The platform allows companies to centrally manage knowledge transfer, training costs, and measure the effectiveness of knowledge and training.

28. MINDMEISTER
Mindmeister is a little difficult to get use to in the
beginning. It is a great tool for smaller mind maps
that require visuals or pictures. Importing pictures
give it an advantage; however, it can become
difficult or complicated to correct mistakes. I rank
this second.
29.
30. BUBBL.US
Bubbl.us is a easy tool to use and makes it easy to
export to MS Word or PowerPoint. I do not like the
fact pictures cannot be imported, but the other
features work well and are user-friendly. Compared
to Mindmeister, I like this tool better. There are
more advantages to using this tool including the
security found with the “HTTPS:” urls. I rank this
first above Mindmeister
