Village Point is a pilot project operating in 4 villages in the Netherlands since January 2004. It is funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Province of Northern Brabant. Village Point aims to clarify local demands related to livability and match demand with reliable suppliers through a physical service point, website, and call center. Each pilot village has its own project leader and Village Point is operated out of existing buildings of partner organizations. The goal is to shift from a producer-centered model to a customer-centered one where the customer's demands and needs are the main focus.
