History of Madrid
The history of Madrid dates to the 9th
century, even though the area has been
inhabited since the stone age. The
population of Madrid in 2023 is 6 million
above. Other name in Madrid which
comes from Arabic.
Culture of Madrid
The culture in Madrid is influenced by
the cities long, historic role in Spanish
and European history, its current role as
thriving capital, its dominant position in
the art scene, its incredible international
food scene and its famous reputation for
endless fiestas! Madrid with many
customs and traditions, one of the most
famous of which is the custom of kissing
double on the cheek. This is a traditional
greeting used when meeting someone for
the first time or when seeing someone
after a long time.

Madrid's gastronomy is a feast for the
senses, with Cocido Madrileo and
Huevos Rotos being popular dishes.
Cocido Madrileo is a filling stew with
chickpeas, veggies, and meats, while

sights, parks, and streets.

private transportation.
