Game’s Description
Buccaneer’s Booty is the name of our game.
Meaning :
Buccaneer means a Pirate, Booty means Treasure
Buccaneer’s Booty is a platform level game
about pirates. The user can choose from a
selection of characters, the character chosen
then goes on different quests and missions to
find treasure, and complete puzzles to gain
achievements.
Genre: Platform Adventure Level Game
Target Audience: 11 – 15 Years
Games Plot
The plot of the whole game is that the player
controls a character through different levels. The
character goes through different environments in
order to escape back to the pirate ship called The
Wandering Dream . Throughout each level the
character will collect treasure, which later on will
allow the user to buy more characters and power
ups.
In the first level starts with the character escaping
from jail. The character then has to complete
puzzles in order too find keys which will unlock there
shipmates.
Game Progression
The game will consist of different levels which would
contain different environments and different themes.
Level 1-3 – Jail
Level 4-6 – Pirate Town
Level 7-10- Jungle
Level 11- 14 – Cave
Level 15- 18 – Beach
Level 19- 22- Pirate Boat

From Research, A treasure collecting puzzle
pirate games was rare to find especially on the
android play store. So our game will be unique in
that way.
We also believe that the game has a great story
line and characters
The cartoon feel makes it more appealing for the
younger audience.
Research
When doing our research we looked at games such as Sid Meier's pirate
game. To help us gain ideas of what characters would look like, the setting of
the game and what genre we want out game to be, For example weather its an
adventure, quest etc.
