The story follows two brothers, a.m and p.m, who race against their powerful cousin, he-man, using a strategy of running one by one to outlast him. Despite he-man's strength and initial lead, a.m and p.m manage to continuously alternate running, symbolizing the passage of time as they represent a 12-hour clock against he-man's 24-hour clock. Ultimately, the race never truly ends, reflecting the ongoing movement of time represented by clocks.

1. The story of A.m & P.m
Once upon a time, in a village there were
two brothers named Tondumal &
Petumal. Tondumal had only one son
named He-man, who looked like a giant
and Petumal had two sons named A.m
& P.m, who looked normal .

2. One day, He-man laughed at A.m & P.m and
challenged them that,“ If you both will race
with me, I will defeat both of you.” After
that, A.m & P.m thought that, really He-
man looks like a giant and also, he is more
powerful than us, if we race with him, it’s
certain that we will lose the race.

3. They started thinking about it. All of
sudden , A.m got an idea. A.m told P.m
that, “ if we run one by one in this race,
we can defeat He-man. Because, If I will
get fatigue, you will run and if you will
get fatigue, I will run with He-man. But,
He-man will run continuously and after
some time, he will get fatigue. Hence, in
this way, we can win the race.”

4. Both the brothers went to He-man, to tell
him that they were ready to race with him,
but at only one condition, that they will
run one by one. He-man agreed to it. He
was very sure that he will win, as he was
more powerful than A.m & P.m.

5. On Monday, their race started at midnight A.m
said to He-man, that he will run first with him.
In this race, A.m and P.m are running on behalf
of 12 Hours clock and He-man on behalf of 24
hours clock. When A.m runs the race, that time
is counted as A.m and when P.m runs the race,
that time is counted as P.m. But when He-man
runs the time is counted in Hours continuously.

6. After completion of few hours race, the time is said to be
 1:00A.m or 0100hrs (at night) after 1 hr
 2:00A.m or 0200hrs (at night) after 2 hr
After 6 hours race, it is morning and the time is 6:00A.m
or 0600hrs and so on……
After completion of 11 hours race, A.m was feeling tired
and started laying, but yet running with He-man.
He-man laughed at him saying, “You are going to lose the
race.”
A.m told He-man, “Don’t worry, I’m running with you and
I’ll not lose the race.” But about midday, A.m fell down,
after completion of 12 hours race.

7. He-man started laughing at him loudly.
P.m put A.m on his back and shouted at
He-man saying, “Now, I’ll run with you.
Don’t think that now you have won the
race.” He-man said to P.m, “OK, run
with me.” When P.m completes 1 hour,
the time is said to be 1:00P.m or 1300hrs
in the afternoon. The sun was going to
set down, it was 6 in the evening and the
time is counted as 6:00P.m or 1800hrs.

8. It was night, but both He-man & P.m
were still running.
The hours following 6:00P.m are-
7:00P.m - 1900hrs
8:00P.m - 2000hrs
9:00P.m - 2100hrs
10:00P.m - 2200hrs
11:00P.m - 2300hrs

9. After completion of 11 hour race with He-
man, P.m was feeling fatigue. He-man again
started laughing loudly on P.m.
P.m said to He-man, “I am still
running with you.” After half an hour, P.m
started feeling nervous, but was still running.
As P.m completed 12 hours of race, he fell
down.He was not able to run anymore. He-
man was just about to declare his victory. But,
what’s this?

10. A.M got up and told He-man that, “Now, I am
fresh enough and I’ll run with you.” He-man
started running with A.m again and continued
to run with both A.m &P.m.
In this way, A.m & P.m along with He-man
completed 1 day race, 1week race, 1 month
race, 6 months race and1 year race.

11. Since then, the race of He-man with A.m & P.m
hasn’t ended yet and it will never end
because, it is the story of our very own
“CLOCK!”.
