Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).

De Universiteit van Tilburg heeft als slogan: Understanding Society. We willen de maatschappij begrijpen, we willen eraan bijdragen. Onze opleidingen staan in verbinding met die maatschappij. We geven aan de hand van het maatschappelijke thema recht een voorbeeld van Understanding Society. Maar het ‘recht’ is natuurlijk veel breder dan dat. Het aantal jongeren dat een delict pleegt is de afgelopen jaren – ondanks verhalen in de media en in de politiek - niet spectaculair toegenomen, maar wel is het een feit dat jongeren op jongere leeftijd een delict plegen en dat de gepleegde delicten dikwijls ernstiger zijn dan vroeger. Maar op welke wijze moet op die strafbare feiten worden gereageerd? Moet rekening worden gehouden met de pedagogische doelstellingen van het jeugdstrafrecht en het belang van het kind in kwestie of mogen de belangen van het slachtoffer en de samenleving zwaarder wegen? Voor welke rechter moet de jeugdige verschijnen: de kinderrechter of de gewone rechtbank? Kan worden volstaan met een kinderbeschermingsmaatregel? En als de jeugdige veroordeeld wordt, kan hij dan een lange gevangenisstraf krijgen opgelegd? Of is een taakstraf voldoende om de jeugdige weer op het rechte pad te krijgen? Wat als een 16-jarige jongen een ander vermoordt? Mag of moet de rechter dan kiezen voor een zware sanctie uit het volwassenenrecht (TBS of langdurige gevangenisstraf) of mag hij ook een jeugddetentie of plaatsing in een inrichting voor jeugdigen bevelen?
Rechtsgeleerdheid De bacheloropleiding Rechtsgeleerdheid is de meest brede juridische opleiding die in Tilburg wordt aangeboden. Het is een populaire richting waar veel studenten voor kiezen. Het doel is om jou op te leiden tot een jurist die in veel verschillende juridische vakgebieden thuis is. Binnen de Tilburgse rechtenfaculteit is er veel aandacht voor academische en juridische vaardigheden, zoals pleiten, een onderzoek opzetten en bronnenonderzoek. Daarnaast wordt aandacht besteed aan de rechtspraktijk en het doen van wetenschappelijk onderzoek.

Je bent betrokken bij de maatschappij en wil iets bijdragen aan de samenleving. Je vestigt geen oordeel, alvorens te analyseren en bekijkt alles van een breed perspectief. Daarnaast ben je ambitieus en gemotiveerd, studeert met inzet en hebt doorzettingsvermogen: je bent bereid om voldoende tijd aan de studie te besteden, hebt doorzettingsvermogen en bent bovendien bereid om regelmatig deel te nemen aan activiteiten die indirect de kennis verrijken zoals workshops, congressen en seminars die worden georganiseerd. Daarnaast ben je zelfstandig, zelfwerkzaam en heb je zelfdiscipline: studenten van de Universiteit van Tilburg zijn in staat om zelfstandig opdrachten uit te voeren, problemen op te lossen en informatie te verzamelen. Ten slotte ben je iemand die niet te beroerd is om zelf initiatieven te nemen en verder durft te kijken.
Om te starten aan (een van) de besproken opleiding(en) moet je een VWO-diploma hebben. Alle profielen verlenen toegang tot de opleiding Bestuurskunde. Heb je geen VWO, maar een Havo diploma? Dan is het raadzaam om eerst je VWO te behalen, in plaats van je Hbo-propedeuse. Je kunt echter ook met een hbo-propedeuse toegelaten worden. Als je het profiel Economie & Maatschappij hebt, kan dat extra in je voordeel werken, omdat je daardoor waarschijnlijk makkelijker de stof van het eerste jaar tot je kan nemen. Met andere profielen bestaat de kans dat je het eerste jaar iets harder moet werken, daarentegen is het niet zo dat studenten met een ander pakket het ‘slechter’ doen.
Alle opleidingen van de Universiteit van Tilburg duren in principe vier jaar. Je volgt eerst een bacheloropleiding van drie jaar. Rond je die met succes af, dan krijg je het bachelordiploma (LL.B). Daarna is het de bedoeling dat je doorstroomt naar een meer gespecialiseerde masteropleiding om je masterdiploma te behalen (LLM). Alle bachelors hebben gegarandeerd aansluiting op minimaal éé n masteropleiding. Pas met je masterdiploma op zak heb je een volwaardige universitaire studie afgerond. Als je ge ï nteresseerd bent in wetenschappelijk onderzoek doen, dan kun je er ook voor kiezen om na je bachelor een Research master te gaan doen. Die duurt dan twee jaar. Daarna kun je doorstromen in een zogenaamd PhD traject. Dan ben je promovendus, je schrijft je proefschrift en als je dit met succes hebt verdedigd, krijg je de titel doctor (PhD).
De eerste 3 semesters van de juridische opleidingen in Tilburg hebben veel gemeenschappelijke elementen. Deze vakken komen in alle 4 de bacheloropleidingen terug. Alle vakken in de bachelorperiode bestaan uit 6 ECTS (studiepunten).
Na 1,5 jaar specialiseren in: De eerste 3 semesters van de opleidingen van rechten zijn gezamenlijk. Pas na het 3 e semester kies je één van de richtingen (Rechtsgeleerdheid, Fiscaal Recht, Internationaal en Europees Recht of Recht en Management). Je wordt dus breed opgeleid en dit is gunstig voor de toekomstperspectieven, aangezien er veel vraag is naar juristen met een generalistische opleiding. Daarnaast heb je alle tijd om je te oriënteren om vervolgens de bij jou passende richting te kiezen. Stage of naar het buitenland? Het is niet verplicht om stage te lopen, maar wel mogelijk. Bij de opleidingen Rechtsgeleerdheid en Recht & Management wordt het gestimuleerd om een deel van de opleiding in het buitenland te volgen. De opleiding Internationaal en Europees Recht heeft diverse uitwisselingsprogramma’s met andere universiteiten binnen en buiten Europa. Er is volop ruimte om een half jaar in het buitenland te studeren. Ook bij Fiscaal Recht is stagelopen niet verplicht, maar wel erg aan te bevelen. Studievereniging ‘De Smeetskring’ onderhoudt zeer intensieve contacten met het bedrijfsleven. Als je lid bent van de vereniging kun je mee naar bedrijfsbezoeken, waaruit vaak mooie stageplaatsen voortkomen. Geef hierbij voorbeeldvakken die specifiek zijn voor Rechtsgeleerdheid Bijvoorbeeld: Staatsrecht: is het een goed idee om artikel 1 van onze Grondwet – het gelijkheidsbeginsel en het discriminatieverbod- te schrappen, zoals Wilders’ PVV voorstelt? Wat zouden de consequenties daarvan eigenlijk zijn? Mag de overheid moskeeën sluiten waarvan vermoed wordt dat er radicale islamitische denkbeelden worden verkondigd? In het vak Staatsrecht wordt een brede introductie gegeven in de voornaamste leerstukken van het Nederlandse staatsrecht; Strafprocesrecht: in dit vak wordt systematisch aandacht besteed aan de vraag of het geldende recht voldoet, op welke punten modernisering geindiceerd lijkt en op welke wijze dat vorm zou moeten krijgen; Verbintenissenrecht: dit is een deelgebied binnen het burgerlijk recht. Het gaat in op verbintenissen die mensen op juridisch vlak kunnen aangaan, zoals huur-, koop- of huwelijksovereenkomsten. Voorbeeldvakken Een bijzonder vak in de juridische opleiding is de oefenrechtbank. Als jurist is het heel belangrijk om je zowel mondeling als schriftelijk goed te kunnen uitdrukken. In feite ben je in de rechtszaal bezig met het onderhandelen over juridische kwesties. In de Oefenrechtbank leer je deze juridische kwesties te analyseren, te onderzoeken, uit te werken en te bepleiten. Tijdens de rechtszittingen in de oefenrechtbank komen de zaken voor echte rechters, die beslissen over de argumenten die jij als jurist aandraagt. De oefenrechtbank is bijzonder nuttig voor de beroepspraktijk. De beroepspraktijk hoeft dan niet per se de advocatuur of de rechterlijke macht te zijn; een overtuigende presentatie van standpunten zal immers overal goed van pas komen! ECTS Ieder jaar bevat 60 ECTS (Studiepunten) en dat is ongeveer 1680 uur. Er wordt dus van je verwacht dat je ongeveer 40 uur per week aan je studie besteedt. Dit betekent niet dat je 40 uur in de week colleges hebt. Veel van deze tijd is namelijk bedoeld voor zelfstudie. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld zijn het maken van opdrachten of het voorbereiden van colleges. Ook zitten het leren en maken van je tentamens bij deze tijd in. De rechtenfaculteit maakt gebruik van het bindend studieadvies . Dit houdt in dat je in het eerste jaar, op grond van de tot dan toe behaalde resultaten, een advies krijgt over het al dan niet voortzetten van je studie. Voor alle opleidingen geldt dat je minimaal 70% van alle ECTS (bij geen vrijstellingen is dat 42 ECTS) moet hebben behaald om de opleidingen te mogen doorzetten. Dit advies is bindend en wordt uitgebracht door de examencommissie van de opleiding. Ori ë ntatie, selectie en verwijzing Het eerste jaar is te kenmerken door de woorden ori ë ntatie, selectie en verwijzing. Het eerste jaar is een inleidend jaar en heeft vooral een ori ë nterende functie. Je stelt je de vraag: is de opleiding wat ik ervan had verwacht. Daarnaast is er de selecterende functie: ben je wel geschikt voor deze opleiding? Mocht het antwoord op de vorige vraag ontkennend zijn, dan krijg je te maken met de verwijzende functie: wat kun je het beste gaan doen? Zowel voor de faculteit als voor de student is het van belang om in te schatten of een succesvolle afronding van de opleiding erin zit. Semesters Het eerste jaar is verdeeld in 2 semesters blokken van ongeveer 18 weken. Elk blok bestaat uit 14 weken college en vervolgens ongeveer 4 weken voor tentamens en herkansingen. In ieder semester moet je 30 ECTS halen. Het is wel echt noodzakelijk om onmiddellijk in september serieus aan de slag te gaan. De eerste tentamens vallen namelijk al eind oktober, dus je moet wel vanaf het begin alles goed bijhouden. Je hebt dus 4 tentamenperiodes per jaar. Bijkomend voordeel is dat de tentamens over een kleinere hoeveelheid stof gaan.
Om je een beetje vertrouwd te maken met de studentenwereld, organiseert de Tilburgse Introduktie Kommissie (TIK) een introductieweek. Het maakt niet uit welke studie je gaat doen. De TIK-week is er voor alle studenten van HBO en universiteit. In de introductieweek maak je kennis met medestudenten en verken je Tilburg in groepjes van zo'n twaalf personen onder begeleiding van ouderejaars. De Tilburgse studentenwereld trekt aan je voorbij. Binnen een week ken je de uitgaansgelegenheden en allerlei verenigingen, om te sporten, te studeren of gewoon voor de gezelligheid. Zo leg je een goede basis voor een gezellige en succesvolle studententijd. Als je ingeschreven staat voor een studie aan de UvT, krijg je vanzelf een uitnodiging om mee te doen. Naast deze algemene introductie verzorgen de faculteiten en opleidingen zelf ook een introductie. Je leert dan je studiegenoten alvast wat beter kennen en krijgt te horen wat je in het eerste jaar allemaal te wachten staat. Bovendien leer je in korte tijd de weg kennen op de universiteit. Waar moet je zijn voor je dictaten, hoe moet je je aanmelden voor tentamens, etc. Allemaal praktische zaken die van groot belang zijn voor een snelle en probleemloze start. Tijdens je opleiding kun je met allerlei zaken te maken krijgen. Het kan bijvoorbeeld gebeuren dat je, ondanks al je inspanningen, een negatief voorlopig studieadvies krijgt. Of misschien blijkt de overstap van de middelbare school naar de universiteit wel erg groot te zijn. Of heb je vragen over het onderwijsprogramma. Eerstejaarsstudenten worden binnen de rechtenfaculteit begeleid door zowel docent- als studentmentoren. Deze mentoren helpen jou om te wennen aan de nieuwe omgeving, het studentenleven en de opleiding. Al tijdens de introductie maak je kennis met jouw mentoren. De Faculteit Rechtswetenschappen organiseert de FIK, het Facultair Introductie Kamp . Tijdens dit driedaagse kamp ontmoeten elk jaar ongeveer 200 eerstejaars bachelorstudenten van de Faculteit Rechtswetenschappen elkaar. Op een informele manier maak je onder begeleiding van jullie mentoren (2 ouderejaars studenten), ouderejaars rechtenstudenten, docenten, studieadviseurs en studie- en studenten- verenigingen, kennis met elkaar. Tijdens de FIK krijg je informatie over de rechtenstudie, de vakken in het eerste semester, de faculteit, de onderwijsvormen, het collegerooster, boekenlijsten, enzovoort. Kortom: over alles wat een aankomend rechten- of bestuurskunde student moet weten! Naast het informatieve gedeelte is er tijdens de FIK ook plaats voor gezelligheid en ontspanning. Als je extra studieondersteuning zoekt, kun je terecht bij studiecoaches. Dit zijn ouderejaarsstudenten die jou actief helpen bij de opleiding. Ze adviseren bij opdrachten, geven tips en feedback en helpen bij het aanleren van een actieve en effectieve studiehouding.
De Universiteit van Tilburg is gespecialiseerd in mens- en maatschappijwetenschappen. We hebben 5 faculteiten die onderwijs geven en onderzoek doen in allerlei gebieden die met mensen en de maatschappij te maken hebben. Dit zijn de Faculteit Rechtswetenschappen (waar Bestuurskunde onder valt), Faculteit Economie en Bedrijfswetenschappen, Faculteit Sociale Wetenschappen, Faculteit Geesteswetenschappen en de Faculteit Katholieke Theologie. Daarnaast hebben we ook de TIAS NIMBAS Business School voor mensen die al werken, maar bijvoorbeeld nog hun MBA willen halen. Hierna zal ik jullie een kort filmpje laten zien over de Universiteit van Tilburg, waarin ook een aantal studenten aan het woord komen.
In Tilburg zul je je dan ook niet alleen bezig houden met het uit je hoofd leren van rechtsregels. Het gaat er voornamelijk om dat je inzicht krijgt in de werking van het recht en de invloed ervan op de maatschappij. In Tilburg krijg je colleges van zeer ervaren docenten en hoogleraren. Deze experts zijn gepromoveerd binnen hun vakgebied. Veel docenten zie je ook regelmatig in de media voorbij komen. Als er nieuws is op het gebied van internationaal recht, dan zul je Willem van Genugten vaak terugzien of – horen op radio en tv. Hoor je iets over privacy op internet, dan treedt Corien Prins regelmatig op als expert. Uniek voor de rechtenfaculteit in Tilburg is dat er veel docenten zijn en dat je gemakkelijk met ze in contact komt als je vragen hebt of begeleiding zoekt. Een universiteit biedt niet enkel onderwijs, maar is een belangrijke leverancier van wetenschappelijke kennis. De docenten en hoogleraren aan de rechtenfaculteit nemen deel aan diverse nationale en internationale onderzoeksprogramma’s. Zo wordt er bijvoorbeeld onderzoek gedaan onder andere juridische kwesties rondom Facebook en privacy. Zowel het onderzoek als het onderwijs is in Tilburg sterk internationaal georiënteerd. De rechtenfaculteit heeft een groot netwerk met andere rechtenfaculteiten over de hele wereld. Dit betekent dat we kennis kunnen uitwisselen, maar het betekent ook dat je zelf als student naar het buitenland kunt. Naast de juridische opleidingen biedt de rechtenfaculteit ook nog de opleiding Bestuurskunde.
Wanneer je je bacheloropleiding hebt afgerond, kun je een van de masteropleidingen kiezen. De rechtenfaculteit biedt 12 masteropleidingen aan. Tien daarvan zijn 1-jarige Master of Laws (LLM) opleidingen en de twee andere zijn 2-jarige onderzoeksmasters, die gericht zijn op onderzoek en je voorbereiden op je promoveren. De opleidingen van de andere faculteiten leiden tot de titel Master of Arts (MA), bijvoorbeeld Sociologie, of Master of Science (MSc), bijvoorbeeld economie. Zeven masters van de faculteit rechten zijn Engelstalig, waardoor er ook veel internationale studenten rondlopen. Daarnaast zijn er ook 5 masteropleidingen die Nederlandstalig zijn. Je kunt binnen je eigen faculteit gegarandeerd aansluiting vinden bij minstens éé n masteropleiding, zonder extra aanvullingen. Afhankelijk van de precieze vakkeninvulling kun je ook toegelaten worden tot andere masteropleidingen, dus ook masteropleidingen van andere faculteiten. Met je bachelordiploma kun je ook overstappen naar een universiteit elders in Nederland of in het buitenland. Dan kan het zijn dat je bepaalde aanvullingen of (keuze)vakken moet hebben. Tijdens je masteropleiding volg je, net als bij je bacheloropleiding, colleges en je schrijft een groot werkstuk: een thesis. Naast verschillen tussen het VWO en WO zijn er ook grote verschillen tussen een HBO- en een WO-opleiding. Een universitaire studie is geen beroepsgerichte opleiding zoals een opleiding in het hoger beroepsonderwijs (HBO). Op het HBO krijg je veel praktijk en een HBO-opleiding heeft vaak een duidelijk beroepsbeeld. Een WO-opleiding is, de naam zegt het al, een wetenschappelijke opleiding. Met een universitaire opleiding word je academisch gevormd. De stof is theoretischer en abstracter. Het analyseren van een probleem en de wijze waarop je een oplossing bedenkt is belangrijker dan de oplossing zelf (al zijn er wel linken met de praktijk). Op het HBO duurt je opleiding 4 jaar en krijg je na afronding een HBO-bachelortitel. Met een bacheloropleiding op een HBO ben je dan ook klaar om aan de slag te gaan op de arbeidsmarkt. De HBO-bachelortitel is niet hetzelfde als de WO-bachelortitel; met een HBO-bachelortitel kun je niet zomaar doorstromen naar een universitaire master. Een WO-bachelor is veel meer een voorbereiding op de verdiepende fase van een master. Een volwaardig universitair programma bestaat uit een bachelor en een master. Zoals eerder gezegd heeft een WO-opleiding weinig lesuren. Dit geldt ook voor een HBO-opleiding, maar in mindere mate. In vergelijking met een WO-opleiding heeft een HBO-opleiding dus veel lesuren. Dit hangt samen met de zelfstandigheid, de discipline en het eigen initiatief die allemaal al eerder zijn genoemd. Dit is heel erg belangrijk bij een WO-opleiding, want daar moet je veel meer zelf doen en (in de loop van de opleiding) wordt je veel meer geacht dingen zelf uit te zoeken. Op het HBO krijg je meer begeleiding en controle. Ook kent het HBO voornamelijk verplichte vakken, en heb je op het WO (zeker later in je opleiding) veel keuzevakken. De verschillen tussen HBO en WO zijn heel kort door de bocht samen te vakken als know how versus know é n know why. Je wilt niet alleen weten hoe je iets moet doen, maar waarom moet het juist op die manier en niet op een andere manier.
Er zijn grote verschillen tussen de middelbare school (Voorbereidend Wetenschappelijk Onderwijs) en de universiteit (wetenschappelijk onderwijs). Een heel groot verschil zit in het onderwijs zelf. Zoals wel duidelijk zal zijn geworden heb je totaal andere onderwijsvormen. Er zijn veel minder lesuren (colleges) en je moet veel zelf doen, ook al krijg je lang niet altijd 'huiswerk' mee. Je moet zelf je colleges voorbereiden en er naderhand mee aan de slag gaan. Er wordt ook niet altijd gecontroleerd of je er wel bent en of je alle stof goed bijhoudt. Bij sommige vakken krijg je maar éé n keer tentamen: dan moet je alles ineens kennen. En dan hebben we het niet over een paar hoofdstukken, maar over een paar boeken. Als je pas een week voor het tentamen aan een vak begint, is het echt te laat. Daarnaast is natuurlijk een groot vraagstuk: ga je op kamers, of blijf je thuis wonen (althans in het begin)? De overstap naar een universiteit is een grote verandering. Om daaraan te wennen, blijven veel studenten nog lekker even thuis wonen. Maar er zijn ook genoeg studenten die ook meteen op kamers gaan. Als je op kamers gaat wonen, leer je pas echt wat het betekent om op eigen benen te staan. Dus zelf je financi ë n regelen, je eigen kamer opruimen en poetsen, zelf je boodschappen doen en koken (je krijgt spontaan meer respect voor je moeder). Studenten die op kamers wonen, nemen meestal actiever deel aan het studentenleven omdat ze er middenin zitten. Een ander punt is de vraag of je bij een (studenten)vereniging gaat. Zoals wel duidelijk zal zijn geworden zijn er veel soorten verenigingen waar je bij kunt gaan om jezelf te ontwikkelen, en natuurlijk gewoon voor de gezelligheid. In Tilburg zitten er minder mensen bij een studentenvereniging dan in andere steden, maar veel mensen zijn wel actief bij een of andere vereniging.
Meer informatie kun je op verschillende manieren krijgen. Natuurlijk is er de website van de Universiteit van Tilburg over de bachelors, waarvan het adres onderaan de slide staat. Je kunt je ook inschrijven voor voorlichtingsdagen en het proefstuderen. Voorlichtingsdagen zijn vooral bedoeld om een dagje rond te kijken op de universiteit en voorlichting te krijgen over verschillende bachelors. Tijdens de voorlichtingsdag kun je de universiteit en haar opleidingen verkennen. Je krijgt ‘ s ochtends eerst een korte introductie over de verschillende bacheloropleidingen. Daarna kun je je tijdens de 1e voorlichtingsronde wat meer verdiepen in éé n specifieke bachelor. Gedurende de middag heb je eerst een lunch en kan je op de informatiemarkt alle informatie krijgen over de verenigingen en vragen stellen aan de studieadviseurs. Daarna zul je door een student rondgeleid worden over de campus. Vervolgens beging de 2e voorlichtingsronde waarin je je kunt verdiepen in een tweede specifieke bachelor. Tijdens een proefstudeerdag verdiep je je in een bepaalde opleiding. Deze dag volg je proefcolleges om een goed beeld van een specifieke opleiding te krijgen. Om aan de proefstudeerdag mee te doen moet je ook op een voorlichtingsdag zijn geweest. Gedurende de middag vindt er een informeel programma in de stad plaats om ook de studentenstad Tilburg te leren kennen. Er zijn natuurlijk ook brochures over de verschillende opleidingen. Hier liggen een paar folders die jullie mee kunnen nemen, andere kunnen jullie aanvragen via de website. Mocht je nog vragen hebben over de studie, de Universiteit, de stad Tilburg of iets anders en kun je je antwoord niet op de website of in de folders vinden, dan kun je een mailtje sturen naar een mailstudent. Iedere opleiding heeft een mailstudent die je alle vragen kan stellen met betrekking tot het maken van een goede studiekeuze. Kijk hiervoor op de website.
