 Have a DREAM
 Set a TARGET
 Make your DREAM becomes REALITY
 Listen to POSITIVE INPUTS
 Filter other people opinion which
contradict your target
 Be friend to yourself
 Think wisely on your decision
Daring to be different…
 When you do research…..
It is important to have a research topic
which has following characteristics:
 Unique
 Original
 Reasonable and Applicable
 Missionary
Your real journey starts….
Don’t do early celebration…
…… then,
when you are awarded with a
SCHOLARSHIPS …… (yay!!)
Don’t forget to:
 Thank God and people who support you
(they are your pillars).
 Remind yourself “it’s just a beginning”…
be ready to work hard…
Networking is important!!
When you are overseas:
 Socialize with other people from other
countries, and appreciate the differences in
cultures and thoughts.
 If you can manage time wisely, engage with
some other activities to balance out your
academic life. But choose wisely, only if it can
enrich your personal well-being and wisdom.
 Find good genuine friends amongst your
friend, and maintain your friendships with
them. They are your inner circle of friends.
Make Progress, even a small step!!
When you are stuck with your study:
Remind yourself:
“there is nothing not made easier with
repetitive actions and familiarity of the
problem”
“run when you can run, walk when you
can’t run, crawl when you can’t walk, but
never stay in the same position”
Be aware of the stages of your study
life and be ready:
It’s only getting worse until you complete
your study.
Hope for the best, expect the
worst!
Murphy’s Law may happen to you:
“Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong”
Or…
Sod’s Law may happen to you:
“Whatever can go wrong, it always goes
wrong with the worst possible outcome”
But… don’t get stressed (too long)…
There is no reason to get stressed…
If you can change the condition, change it!
If you can not change it, then there is no
point to get stressed.
Train your POSITIVE MIND =
improve your BRAIN
WHEN YOU HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO
WORK OVERSEAS…
 Try to not making any mistake,
 Be punctual (leave our culture of ‘rubber
time’ behind),
 Be critical,
 Always look out for a challenge… sky is
the limit..
GOOD LUCK for YOUR STUDY &
MAKING YOUR DREAM COME TRUE
All experiences will make you more
prepared and… hopefully wiser…
THANK YOU…
