Requiem for a Decade ( ✝︎2011 - ☥2021 )Anne Marleen
Requiem for a Decade ( ✝︎2011 - ☥2021 ) is a dynamic visual concept about grief and loss. It's a feminine exploration of loneliness, despair, anger and doubt through existing songs.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.

1. “Don’t make me sad, don’t make me
cry
Sometimes love is not enough when
the road gets though
I don’t know why
Keep making me laugh
Let’s go get high
The road is long, we carry on
Try to have fun in the meantime
Come take a walk on the wild side
Let me kiss you hard in the pouring
rain
You like your girls insane
Choose your last words, this is the
last time
Cause you and I, we were born to die”
2. Not even rain and stormy nights
Boy I'd be flying overhead
Your heavy words can't bring me down
Boy I've been raised from the dead
No one even knows how hard life was
I don't even think about it now because
I've finally found you
(Now sing it to me)
Now my life is sweet like cinnamon
Like a fucking dream I'm living in
Baby, love me cause I'm playing on the radio
(How do you like me now?)
3. All my friends tell me I should move on
I'm lying in the ocean singing your song
That's how you sing it
Loving you forever can't be wrong
Even though you're not here, wont move on
That's how we played it
And there's no remedy for memory
Your face is like a melody
It won't leave my head
Your soul is haunting me and telling that
everything is fine
But I wish i was dead
Every time I close my eyes
It's like a dark paradise
No one compares to you
I'm scared that you won't be waiting on
the other side
4. Elvis is my daddy, Marilyn's my mother,
Jesus is my bestest friend.
We don't need nobody 'cause we got each other,
Or at least I pretend
We get down every Friday night
Dancing' and grindin' in the pale moonlight
Grand Ole Opry, we're feelin' alright
Mary prays the rosary for my broken mind
(So don't worry about)
5. That’s why I’m leaving you for the moment,
you for the moment
Boy blue, yeah you
It’s getting harder to show it
I’m feeling hot to the touch
You say you miss me
And I always say I miss you so much
But something keeps me really quiet
I’m alive, I’m a lush
Your love, your love, your love
