Nuclear energy is a good source of energy because it does not produce carbon dioxide or smoke during power generation. While nuclear energy requires mining, enrichment and fuel fabrication, it produces a large amount of energy from a small amount of fuel that can be easily transported and stored. However, nuclear energy comes with security concerns and relies on a non-renewable resource.
