We have seen the stock markets plunge across the world during this coronavirus pandemic which spread across the world in early 2020. Many people have been laid off and do not have sick pay. Those who work in online marketing are lucky to be able to continue their work (if they still have it) but many of us will need to upkill. I will cover some of the environmental impact of COVID19 and how we can all play a greater role in looking after the environment going forwards. Zara, Mango etc - In 1990s fashion retailers cut costs to increase pace
of production
2. 80 billion new pieces of clothing around the world produced each

3. Each year 430,000 tonnes of clothing are disposed of and not recycled
in the UK.
4. UK consumers have around £30 billion worth of clothes which they

increase of 200,000 tonnes on 2012.
