COMPANY OVERVIEW
Prekkha Bangladesh was founded in late
2015 with the goal to make Bangladeshi market
transparent by reducing unnecessary middleman
and corruption. The legal structure of Prekkha
Bangladesh is sole proprietorship that is owned
by Mr. Syed Talha Alam.
As a result, we launched prekkha.com in
2016 that allows users to review in proper format
so that consumers can make educated decision
before using any service. We also have aim to be
come the online “Sign Board” for every
businesses to market their products and services.
We also launched deshhut.com in 2016
with the goal to become the largest online
marketplace and payment processing company in
Bangladesh that Is made & owned by
Bangladeshi for Bangladesh to provide the most
cost effective solution for both buyer and seller.
After becoming essential to the households
in Bangladesh, our ultimate goal is to become the
IT bearing flagship company to developing
countries in South Asia and Africa that lacks
information for its consumers; such as, Nepal,
Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Ghana, etc.

Deshhut.com
Deshhut is the newest online classified marketplace in Bangladesh. Our goal is to acquire market
share from the other marketplance, Bikroy.com, by providing the most cost effective solutions to the
customers and eventually bringing a bigger inventory than them. We will also strive to adopt LEAN cost
management techniques to manage cost at an optimum level where Bikroy lacks. Ultimately once we
have a respectable market share, we would like to create branches and start processing payments
throughout the country.
Imagine a rice mill owner from Jessore sending his rice without any risk of payment to Sylhet where we
will collect the payment from the customer and goods from the seller; we will then inspect it and ship it.
We will create revenue as an agent and logistics company. Ultimately, the Jessore seller can charge a
premium to the Sylhet buyer; yet, the Sylhet buyer can buy at a cheaper rate from the Jessore seller by
eliminating unncessary middlemen.
Our goal is to revolutionize the trade flow of Bangladesh which will eliminate the stock-pilers and
unnecessary third parties.

The total number of Internet Subscribers has reached 79.227 million at the end of September, 2017
According to Facebook Ad, there are 9.4 Million plus Facebook users in Bangladesh discounting nonresidential Bangladeshis
living abroad.
According to the BTRC report one third of the mobile users use internet on their mobile phones, this estimates 73.817 million
people who use internet service on their mobile phones.
This huge population of people not only uses social media but also try to make use of internet in their everyday in different

In the digital age, it is absolutely essential for a business to have online presence. Whether it is a website, an e-commerce platform, a social
media page or a combination of all three, getting a company online will reap major benefits. Even if a company does not conduct business online,
customers and potential customers are expecting to see them online. If they are not there, they could be losing out on the opportunity to increase

There is no official count yet; however,
we have covered only 30% of the geography and
gathered roughly 40% of the business on the way
which resulted in more than 1,54,000 businesses
that requires internet presence.
On that note, approximately total

Our target should not be specialized or

Bangladesh which we fount to be a little over
1400. Therefore, we will start with them to sell
online shop on Deshhut.
After then, we will expand to other
businesses who sell similar products but does not
utilize e-marketing tools such as ours.
Our target will be to capture the Dhaka,
Chittagong and Sylhet division from our
competitors to be successful with Dhaka being
the most important. .

It was established in 2013, a business directory service providing its listing through a multiple platform such
as call center, android app and website. It provides users information through classified listing on a host of
categories such as restaurants, malls, ATMs etc.
Their design is less user friendly as a result of our focus group, call center is not responsive and they
stopped developing the website since 2015.
They are not taking any marketing initiative to increase their awareness.
Sondhan.com
Sondhan.com is a Local Search Engine and information directory which facilitates the information of product,
business and service.
Sondhan.com is a Platform which can be accessed and used via Website, mobile apps.
Their web design is not polished with most of the development is completed using Java and has significant
security risk. They are also not very active on marketing and has higher response time than us. They do not
have mobile applications.

Bikroy.com
Bikroy.com was launched in 2012 and their slogan is Largest Marketplace in Bangladesh. Their Alexa rank 19th in
Bangladesh and everyday visitor is 2,15,000. Their business advertisements for cars and vehicles, property,
electronics, home appliances and personal items, sport and hobby items, and jobs, among others. Their paid
feature and revenue come from membership, bump up, top ad, banner advertisement, Bikroy Deals.
Recently, they started charging for posts with product price of 50,000 BDT or above. They also increased their
service price across the board which resulted in subscription loss. They also have huge operational budget that is
not efficient and dragging their company towards net loss.
Even though they conduct business in Bangladesh, they are Swedish owned and have their data team in India, that

time, we must continue to evolve through development and adding more value added features.

Therefore, we will maintain a pool of developer to make sure the website is running smoothly. Website data accuracy: Another key factor is to make sure we maintain correct data that are error free. In order to do that, we will have a team of associates within our team to synthesize and organize data. Adoption of new technologies: The speed of technology is faster than any other speed. Therefore, we have to keep up to date with it. That is why, we kept a budget for development only. Ineffective Management: Prekkha Bangladesh is a visionary project. It requires firm handle, solid advice and effective implementation to move forward. Therefore, we will only hire valuable employees at the best cost possible.   • 30. Funding Requirement As indicated on Financial Projection, we require approximately 37.5 Million Bangladeshi Taka to establish the business and make it essential to start generating revenue. Our goal is to market well enough to be known brand in Bangladesh and hire representatives throughout Bangladesh utilizing lean technique. At the same time, we must continue to evolve through development and adding more value added features. Therefore, we request BDT 37.5 Million to be invested in order to generate a continuous revenue.
