Web Automation Framework:
A hybrid-framework was developed that could be used to automate any web
based application. Uses the Selenium, Sikuli and ROBOT APIs for object
recognition and web-interaction. Support for multiple browsers (IE, Firefox,
Chrome and Safari). Focus on “lights-out” mode of testing. Test metrics
collection and upload to SharePoint for analysis. Test result generation and
sending it via email on completion of execution.
 Expanded usability of the Automation Tool by designing framework such
that any person without any coding skill can create scripts. User could
build the script the way he creates a manual script and then run it. This
approach made the tool to be used by more than 50 teams across 3
financial towers with the least maintenance and KT required.
 Resolved issue with automating applications that don’t have the
conventional field identifiers in the HTML like desktop and Webtop
applications. A variety of applications could be automated using our
framework than any other automation tool available.
 Worked out a solution for the Performance Team to generate
performance of any web application for different browsers. The
generated report included the Page load timing for each screen.
 Suggested a process and lead the team in building a solution for report
validation. This process reduced the manual time taken for validating

Host Automation Framework:
Built using RFT, this framework was developed to automate the IBM Terminal
mainframe screens. Hybrid automation framework with focus on maximum
reusability across multiple applications. Test result generation and metrics

 Reduced the time taken for creating test scripts by creating an Automatic
field detection for the IBM terminal
 Defined a structure for validation of reports greatly reducing the
otherwise huge time consumed in validating it manually
Messaging framework:
Developed a framework that builds and verifies any type of message based on
the format specified. Messages are sent over TCP-IP or HTTP protocols. The
framework is capable of creating the request message and validate the response.
