John Watkins made predictions about the future in an 1899 article that came true within 100 years. Some of Watkins predictions that came true included: 1) Digital color photography allowing photos to be transmitted instantly across long distances; 2) Americans becoming taller by 1-2 inches on average; 3) Mobile phones allowing people to talk to those across oceans; and 4) Pre-prepared frozen meals being commonly sold similar to bakeries today.
