Bridge jewellery is manufactured to the same quality and standards as fine jewellery, only it's made with less expensive materials. This level of jewellery ''bridges'' the gap between costume/fashion jewellery and the fine jewellery world, offering heirloom-worthy style without such a high materials cost.
Bridge jewellery tends to be made using fine silver (including silver clays), sterling silver and ''vermeil'' (a gold electroplated silver) with semiprecious gems such as amethyst, garnet, cultured pearl, marcasite, mother-of-pearl shell, etc.

The sterling silver bracelet (featured below) features marcasite, black agate and mother-of-pearl shell, making it an ideal representative for the bridge jewellery category.
A bridge jewellery component would be the sterling silver clasp (featured below), set with faceted peridot. Some of the new high-tech metals (such as niobium and titanium) meet these quality standards.
Many traditional birthstones (garnet, amethyst, peridot, topaz and more) meet the bridge jewellery definition.

2. THE COMPANY

med by first order professionals well recognised in their different fields. We

where we project our brand to the rest of the world.

one by one, they are all unique and different. These are contemporary jewels
based on tradition. Each one of them is conceive as a wearable artwork. We
want to surprise you.
We are ready to serve any order.

3. MARTA MOORE
MARTA MOORE was born in Seville and now she lives in Tenerife, Canary
Island, Spain.
She graduated on Fine Arts at the Seville University, a contemporary one but
strongly rooted on traditions. Afterwards, she started studying at IE Business
School and continued with an MBA at the Harvard Business School.
As far as she is able to remember, she has been working on Contemporary
Art.
She already developed her liking to jewels in her childhood. She felt fascina-
ted when she saw them either on her mother or on her grannies. When she
grew up she collected them and now, she has created a jewels collection.
4. THE COLLECTION
Our collections are based on observing nature, the contemporary art and
the continuous changing of our world and, most of all, the search of beauty
is behind our collections.
We are interested in natural processes, the materials and techniques we use
are vulnerable to the time and use effects.
Irregularity. Our pieces do not answer to a conventional good taste concept.
They show both their natural processing and imperfection without inhibi-
tions. There is no one pieces equal to the other.
Intimacy. We create jewels that reduce the distance between the object and
the person in order to enjoy them secretly.
Each piece is a joy for the senses. The tact, the view, the sound of materials
when they hit each other, even the smell or the taste they suggest, are found
it our designs.
Our work carries marks from many places. We travel around the world to
get inspired and to choose the best materials. We even travel through the
illusory places of art: cinema, literature, music or visual art. Each idea de-
mands its way to become effective. As well, we read newspapers and watch
the news.
5. Starry Castle
This collection takes the inspiration from the Surrealist movement.
In 1935 a group of Parisian surrealist leaded by André Breton, visited Tene-
rife to attend the Surrealist Exhibition. From this experience he wrote the
poem Le château étoilé (Starry Castle). Short after this visit, he travelled to
N.Y. where he became a political exile.
Precisely André Breton, Oscar Dominguez and the rest of the surrealist
members that arrived to the island in that occasion, were the ones who
discovered to the rest of the world the magical beauty of the volcanic lands-
cape: black sand beaches, and volcanic caves. The surrealists compared the
volcano Teide to the Koh-i-Noor, they compared black sand beachs to a dark
desire and painted the aborigines caves.
This collection is developed in two series:
misms and cosmopolitism of a big city.
We weave sterling silver thread or chain and this tissue gets threaded to
gem and semiprecious stones.
It is fascinating how from a simple thread, the most sophisticated forms can
be created.
