2. Text
“All of us in the Church in
positions of leadership –
and I say this to myself
above all – need to be
aware of what we have to
learn from the concerns
and the faith and the
witness and the questions
of our young people."
3. Unless you change and become like little children, you
will never enter the kingdom of heaven (Matt 18v2)
4. Why prayer?
To help young people
to chill out, address
the imbalance of
overworked and over
stressed young people.
5. Why prayer?
To give young people
a tool to use that aids
them in their search
for identity.
6. The search for God is also
the search for ourselves.
Thomas Keating

31. You are the salt of the earth.
But if the salt loses its
saltiness, how can it be
made salty again? It is no
longer good for anything,
except to be thrown out and
trampled underfoot.

33. LORD, MAKE US SALT
SALT
Stop things
from going
Wrong.
Lord, make us salt
Make our minds and all our senses
alert to seeing your strategies for the
kingdom.
To choose your paths in salty service:
to stand in the way of wrong, to
prevent evil where we can see it
rearing its head, to protect the weak,
the poor, the left our, the pushed
aside.
34. LORD, MAKE US SALT
SALT
Help make
good flavours
stongs
Lord, make us salt
Bring out the strong salty flavours of
your gospel in our lives, in our
conversations, in our decisions, in our
caring and our creating.
35. LORD, MAKE US SALT
SALT
Help to heal
Lord, make us salt
May our presence in our communities,
our churches, our relationships be an
agent of your healing. Heal the
brokenness around us, and heal the
wounds within us.

37. The best gift you can give children is
time and conversation.
