ACADEMIC PROJECT
Modification of Double end boring machine.
My project deals with the modification of double end boring machine at KAMCO, Ernakulam. The
boring machine being used has many drawbacks. The process of boring is doing in two stages, rough
boring and final boring. It takes more time to engage and disengage the work piece. The work piece
being used was the gearbox casing of tiller. By modifying the cam of the boring machine we were able
to do the process of boring in a single stage and we were able to reduce the operation time.
 Attended a PG Diploma course in pipeline design and engineering, stress analysis of pipes(Process
piping design and engineering per ASME B31.3)from INSTITUTE OF PIPELINE ENGINEERING AND
BUILDING SERVICES Hyderabad.
 Attended a course in PDMS (PIPELINE DESIGN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM) from INSTITUTE
OF PIPELINE ENGINEERING AND BUILDING SERVICES, Hyderabad.
