2. Background
A study was conducted to address the concerns of
the diocesan leaders of the decline of Catholic
school enrollment, and why Catholic Hispanics
were not enrolling into Catholic Schools.
Concern raised pointed to the fact that while
Hispanic presence continues to grow and demand
for more resources, to help in closing the
achievement gap is critical, diocesan school
support, resources and personnel are not
available to Hispanic communities.
