This document summarizes a student project to design a solar-powered heating system for lunch boxes. It includes sections on the introduction, literature review, components of the system, how heating works, benefits of solar heating, and experimental results testing the heating of a nichrome coil. The project aims to create sustainable energy and a heating system using solar panels, batteries, a nichrome coil, and portable container to keep food warm for lunch hours later while maintaining food safety. Experimental results show the coil can reach over 150°C when half or less of its length is used and powered by 12-17 volts from the solar system.
