This Is a story of a young man whom the pains he faced while living with his aunt changed his life. It didn’t just change his life, it gave him cash. You can learn and reward yourself from his experience and you will be glad you did. Enjoy!
Photography by Jonathan Torgovnik and Heather McClintock. During the 1994 genocide, hundreds of thousands of Rwandan women were subjected to massive sexual violence by members of the infamous Hutu militia groups, known as the Interhamwe. Among the most isolated survivors are women who have borne children as a result of those rapes. Due to the stigma of rape and “having a child of the militia,” the women’s communities and few surviving relatives have largely shunned them. Intended Consequences: Genocide Mothers; Children of Rape brings together Jonathan Torgovnik’s remarkable portraits of these women and children, and their harrowing first-hand testimonies.Originally from Vermont, Heather McClintock was seeking a deeper, more intimate connection to humanity and the commonalities of our existence. She started documenting the struggles of the Acholi tribe of Northern Uganda in 2006. They are caught in the middle of a complex civil war. Countless numbers have been brutalized and children abducted from the tribe make up about 90% of the rebel soldiers. Heather states that her images only touch on the Acholi’s unimaginable suffering and it is her hope that the photographs will underscore this complicated and imperfect life we all share. She hopes the viewers will lend compassion to all brave survivors of conflict.

2. ← This girl
● I met her sometime in October after I got kicked
out of Biology and put into Biomedical Science. I
got seated next to two dweebs but the girl that sat
in front of me... Oh my god, I thought she was the
most beautiful girl in the world.. So I started
messing with her. As the days went by I got to
know her more and ended up stealing her phone
and putting my number in it so we could text. We
started texting and talking A LOT! I walked her to
her classes every day.
3. She blew my mind
● She was so amazing and perfect in every way, I
could feel the feelings for her growing
●
faster and faster. I always gave her hugs. Afterfaster and faster. I always gave her hugs. After
class I hugged her and held onto her tight, thenclass I hugged her and held onto her tight, then
without thinking I kissed her... I just grabbed herwithout thinking I kissed her... I just grabbed her
sides and kissed her, instantly, she startedsides and kissed her, instantly, she started
blushing and I walked her to her next class.blushing and I walked her to her next class.
4. The next day
● I asked her to be my Girlfriend. She smiled,
giggled, and said yes. I was so happy, words
couldn't even BEGIN to describe how I felt..
She made me feel like a whole new person..
Like I was actually cared for, Which I've never
felt a bond like that before <3
5. November 1st
●
My Birthday. Our 1 month anniversary, Her parents had invited me to go out to dinner
with them and her. I went out to dinner with them all dressed up because the Winter
Formal (Dance) Was later that night. We went out and ate Chinese food, I made an
AMAZING first impression, I was soooo happy and she was too, her parents accepted
me, and that feeling felt best. We slow danced and took pictures, every time I held her
waist and her arms wrapped around me, I've never felt so happy and so safe, I felt
loved. I couldn't help but smiling and shedding a tear because of how happy I was.
6. ● Shecameover to my houseto meet my parentsfor
thefirst time, they loved her instantly. She'sso
sweet and so thoughtful. Wecuddled on my couch
and watched moviesall night, and later for dinner, I
madeher her favorite.. Soup <3 Then wewatched
another movie, Everything wasso perfect and
nothing wasabout to changethat, or theway wefelt.
The First Time She Came To My
House
7. 2nd
Month <3
● At about our second month anniversary we took
this picture, It was my profile picture on
Facebook for the longest time. She makes me
so happy and every time I saw her, It
INSTANTLY lit my world up and made me
smile. She's the most beautiful girl I've ever
seen and the best girlfriend I've EVER had in
my life. I could never look at ANYONE the way
that I look at her. <3
8. Three months later
● We still look at each other every day like we
haven't seen each other in so long, whenever
she looks at me, she smiles and gets so excited
and happy that she sees me. Every time I look
at her, my heart stops for a second, and the first
thing I think of is how did I get such a perfect
girl like her. I literally never thought I could be
with somebody for this long and still have super
strong feelings for her.
9. After about the 4th
month
● We hit a few bumps in the road, but we
overcame it, and after we got through it
together, as a team, I knew that nothing could
ever break us up and I really knew that we have
strong feelings for each other and I knew we
were a healthy relationship and a good team.
<3
10. Her being the girl she was
● She naturally blew my mind, and made me smile, even
when I hear her name I smile and get butterflies
because I can't stop thinking about how perfect she is
and how happy she makes me. Sometimes I ask her
why I don't make her happy, but I always end up
knowing that if I didn't, she wouldn't be with me, I make
her happy, I make her smile, and that's all that matters.
I make her want to live, and I make her want to love me
and be here, witch is the perfect girl <3
11. Me being the guy that I am
●
I crave attention and I'm a clingy type boyfriend, It doesn't exactly bother her but
it gets annoying. I always complain and whine about how she barely texts me
back, but then I think, even though she's not talking to me at the present
moment, she's always thinking about me, and I'm always thinking about her.
She says stuff like I'm stupid and I piss her off, but after that we both look at
each other, kiss, and hug, and we remind ourselves that we love each other
and nothing can stop that. Me loving her, and her loving me, and nothing
stopping that is enough to make me happy for a lifetime.
12. ● I know for a fact that what we feel and the
feelings that we have is love. We share a
special connection, and that connection is trust,
love, companionship, and care. By this time, I
know for a fact that she's the one that was
made for me. I hope she feels the same. God
sent me to her for a reason. Soon I will find that
reason and cherish it for as long as I live.
13. She's such a dork
● She's such a dork. I know for a fact that I can
be my real self around her and she can be her
real self around me, we're comfortable with
each other. Whenever I'm around her, I know I
can be myself, she never judges me, and I
never judge her, of course we both say stupid
things from time to time and make each other
mad, but that won't stop us from loving each
other<3
●
14. Now at 5 and a half months
●
I can truly say I love her. She is becoming one of the main reasons I wake up in the
morning, especially with a smile on my face. I've never had such an amazing
connection with somebody in my life before... She's the only girl I want, and the only
girl I want to be with, forever, and ever, as long as I live. I want to marry her
someday, make her my wife, we'll have a family and everything will be perfect.
Waking up just knowing that she's mine and all mine, it makes me smile and think
about how lucky I am, she could be with anyone she wants, she's so smart, talented,
beautiful, sweet, kind hearted, with an amazing personality, and yet she's with a guy
like me <3 I think about her every day and night and how lucky I am to have her <3
●
I love my baby girl. Sierra Morgan Toney. She will be mine forever <3
