Poster fair by all final year Eng. students at BVM Eng. College in presence of industry and
academic experts to ensure every single final year project become innovative
Date: 10th October 2014 Time: 10:00 to 17:00
Venue: BVM Engineering College, Vallabh Vidyanagar - 388120.
BVM Engineering College organized a Poster Fair on 10th October 2014. About 200 posters of
nearly 680 final year students were displayed. This was the third time in succession that such
Poster or Project Exhibition was being organized at BVM, after a successful experimental effort
made with the final year pass-out students of Computer Engineering Department, Project Expo
2013, in June 2013.
At the inauguration a highly motivating message from the Vice Chancellor of GTU, Dr. A K
Aggarwal Sir, was read out. Dr. Akshai Aggarwal sir conveyed that the final year projects are the
capstone of engineering education, and that most universities in the world award an
engineering degree to a student only when he/she prepares a final year project successfully.

Through this Poster Fair it is earnestly hoped that the students would have been motivated to
do their projects with even better insight, the faculties would have felt happy to see their
mentoring bringing out the best from each project team, and industry would have found many
projects interesting and useful for its needs. And to top it all, this fair would have provided us
all: Students, Faculty and Industry, a unique opportunity to come closer to one another.
It is further hoped that by the time all participants meet again at the Project Expo BVM 2015,
somewhere in April-May 2015, all would have collectively taken together some further steps in
the direction of our common goals, through such platforms of Industry Institute Interaction.
