CONCLUSIONS	
  
The

  interforaminal	
  region	
  with	
  immediate	
  load	
  will	
  preserve	
  intact	
  the	
  
defini-ve	
  implants	
  in	
  the	
  period	
  of	
  osseointegra-on.	
  	
  
The	
  use	
  of	
  implants	
  in	
  the	
  mandibule	
  maintain	
  the	
  bone	
  level,	
  reducing	
  or	
  even	
  stopping	
  the	
  
degree	
  of	
  alveolar	
  atrophy.	
  The	
  only	
  disadvantage	
  of	
  the	
  implant-­‐supported	
  prosthesis	
  is

  DETAILS	
  
A	
  48	
  year	
  old	
  female	
  pa-ent	
  presents	
  because	
  the	
  severe	
  resorp-on	
  of	
  the	
  mandibular	
  residual	
  ridge,	
  
clasificated	
  as	
  a	
  C-­‐w,	
  according	
  to	
  Misch.	
  	
  
The	
  final	
  treatment	
  plan	
  was	
  to	
  place	
  3	
  ERA	
  dental	
  implants	
  of	
  3.75	
  x	
  11mm	
  	
  and	
  2	
  ERA	
  mini-­‐implants	
  of	
  
2.2	
  x	
  11mm.	
  
During	
  the	
  surgical	
  phase	
  the	
  2	
  ERA	
  mini-­‐implants	
  where	
  immediatly	
  loaded	
  to	
  support	
  an	
  overdenture,	
  
while

   approach,

  is	
  cri-cal

  achieving	
  improved	
  aesthe-c
