Open Eye Studios presents Pallets & Palates, an edible exhibition featuring works created by using
appetizers or hors d'oeuvres donated by local Charleston restaurants (Cypress and FIG). By
integrating both visual and culinary artists, Palettes & Palates will showcase the exceptional talent
emerging from two of Charleston’s extraordinary chefs, Craig Deihl of Cypress and Mike Lata of FIG,
as well as the impressive art presented by food sculptor Davin Risk, of Toronto, Canada. The chefs
and Risk will collaborate to create a cohesive, yet one of a kind “tasteful” exhibit. The evening will
feature a live musical performance by local musician Hunter Park. Oh yeah, and since the exhibition
is made out of food, the guests can even eat the art!
