This poster combines drawings, photography, and quotes to create a montage exploring negative and positive portrayals of women. Images drawn with stick and ink are combined with photography to contrast stereotypes of the past ("prejudice") with current empowerment ("pride"). While the topic is serious, the quotations are displayed in a pastry cutter typeface, adding an ironic twist.

Prejudice & Pride Poster
Negative and positive images of women are portrayed here drawn using a stick and Indian ink. I have combined these with
photography and quotes to create a montage. The famous Jane Austen novel title is reversed to emphasize the way in which women
have been stereotyped in the past (‘prejudice’), and how they are now more empowered (‘pride’). The ironic twist is that the
quotations all appear in my pastry cutter typeface.
