Waiting in Vain Books
This is a compilation of observational sketches of women in a variety of contexts. Each book contains drawings related to the separate
words in this title. The first illustrates women ‘waiting’ in different contexts e.g. a sexual health clinic, a bus stop. The second illustrates
women ‘in’ the park, ‘in’ love, etc, and the third illustrates women’s ‘vanity’ e.g. painting their nails. Each book is self-standing but taken
together; they form a single united theme – namely of women waiting (for ‘Mr Right’, for their babies to be born, etc).
