2. Sketches The mountain sketch is done with pen, while the banana and oak tree sketches are done with pencil.

3. Axon Drawing This is an apartment complex on the UC Davis campus near Russell Boulevard. The plant life is verdant because this is a spring-time drawing. The following page contains close-ups of the drawing as well as photographs from the site.

5. One-point & Two-Point Perspectives This sculpture ‘Reach For the Stars’ by John Searles would stand outside of Briggs Hall, where many students and faculty members pass by. The current planter box would have to be removed to better accommodate the artwork, which stands at 20’ tall, 6’ wide, and 6’ deep.

6. Plan & Section This plan and section of the UC Davis Arboretum is rendered as a fall-time drawing with brightly colored foliage. The paired images are close-ups of the plan rendering, and the image in the upper right corner is a photo from the site.
