Serhiy Savchenko is a Ukrainian artist born in 1972. He works in various mediums including painting, drawing, photography, video, and sculpture. His artwork explores the relationship between art and time, which he sees as closely intertwined. Much of his work examines existence through the lens of these "two illusions." Savchenko has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Ukraine and internationally. He is also active as an art curator and organizer of residency programs.

Born 1972 in Lviv, Ukraine.
In 1993 graduated from the Lviv
College of Decorative and Applied Arts
named by I. Trush. In 1998 graduated
from the LvivAcademy ofArts. Works in
the field of painting, drawing, photogra-
phy, video, animation, street sculpture,
object. Founder of independent video
production studio Coproduction
(coproduction.co). Curator of residen-
cies program in Museum of Ideas in
Lviv, Ukraine. Participates in interna-
tional residencies, workshops and art
events in Ukraine and worldwide.
Lives and works in Lviv, Ukraine.
