can find anywhere, plus chat with people and make friends.

I would like to see places of history, culture, nature, places that explode as most important

In conclusion my ideal trip would venture with a companion to another country to meet him

(TASK 2: RESEARCH ABOUT PASSIVE VOCIE)
Nathaly Revelo
11-07-2012.

                                        PASSIVE VOCIE

Use of Passive

Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. It is not important or not known,

however, who or what is performing the action.

Form of Passive

Subject + finite form of to be + Past Participle (3rd column of irregular verbs)

When rewriting active sentences in passive voice, note the following:

the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence

the finite form of the verb is changed (to be + past participle)

the subject of the active sentence becomes the object of the passive sentence (or is

       dropped)
Personal Passive simply means that the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of

the passive sentence. So every verb that needs an object (transitive verb) can form a personal

passive.

Impersonal Passive is not as common in English as in some other languages (e.g. German,

Latin). In English, Impersonal Passive is only possible with verbs of perception (e. g. say, think,

know).

                                          STRUCTURE

    Verb Tense Structure Example

PRESENT SIMPLE am/are/is + pp Spanishisspokenhere.

PRESENT

PRESENT PERFECT have/has been + pp The President of America has been shot.

PAST PERFECT hadbeen + pp
                                                had been stolen.

FUTURE PERFECT willhavebeen + pp Our baby will have been born before Christmas.

The passive forms of a verb are created by combining a form of the "to be verb" with the past

participle of the main verb. Other helping verbs are also sometimes present: "The measure
could have been killed in committee." The passive can be used, also, in various tenses. Let's

take a look at the passive forms of "design."

Homework
(ROOM PROJECT)

Name: Nathaly Revelo.

                                        INTODUCCION

Ecuador is one of the most astounding and impressive whale- watching tourist destinations in
the world.

Setting out from its habitat in the frigid Antarctic water, they complete this voyage essencial
for their survival when they arrive in the tropical South American waters of Ecuador, where
they remain from June to September.

Humpbacks can be seen breaching, performing their mating rituals by displaying a variegated
play- like behavioral pattern, or otherwise cavorting along the coast. Their dorsal fin rises
from the hump they are given the name for, wich becomes conspicuous when they arch
forward to dive again.
BIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS.

Adult specimens are 15 meters and they can attain a body weight of 80,000 pounds.

They feed on sardines, anchovies, and krill.

Their life span is 50-plus years.

They live and travel in groups of 7 to 10 individuals.

Females calve one young every 2 or 3 years. But they could produce 1 offspring every

     year.

The term pregnancy is between 11 and 12 months long.

The time they spend under water ranges between 3 and 7 minutes, after which they

surface to breathe 3 to 5 times every 30 or 40 seconds before they dive again.

They communicate between themselves either by means of low- frequency, under-

water sounds produced by deliberate displacement of air in their wind pipes or by

smacking their long flippers on the ocean surface.
RULES FOR WHALE WATCHING.

Whales targeted for observation must always be approached from the sides or from

     behind.

Vessels must remain behind the targeted group of whales at all times but not closer

than 100 meters or for more than 20 minutes.

In catching up with a group, the speed of the specimen that is trailing behind will be

assessed in order to decide on prudent vessel speed of approach.

If one single whale (or a group of them) spontaneously approaches a vessel, the vessel

must be set adrift with the engine idling until the whale (or whales) swims away. The

engine must not be turned off any reason whatsoever.

No more than three vessels may group and sail together.

It is forbidden to fees the whales or to dump waste into the sea.

Never sail between a whale and her calf as creates a safety hazard for all involved.

Swimming or diving amongst whales is forbidden. Exceptions are made only for

research purposes after duly filing a request with the Port Authority.

  • 29. RULES FOR WHALE WATCHING. Whales targeted for observation must always be approached from the sides or from behind. Vessels must remain behind the targeted group of whales at all times but not closer than 100 meters or for more than 20 minutes. In catching up with a group, the speed of the specimen that is trailing behind will be assessed in order to decide on prudent vessel speed of approach. If one single whale (or a group of them) spontaneously approaches a vessel, the vessel must be set adrift with the engine idling until the whale (or whales) swims away. The engine must not be turned off any reason whatsoever. No more than three vessels may group and sail together. It is forbidden to fees the whales or to dump waste into the sea. Never sail between a whale and her calf as creates a safety hazard for all involved. Swimming or diving amongst whales is forbidden. Exceptions are made only for research purposes after duly filing a request with the Port Authority.
