started at a tender age of 5 under the tutelage of Smt. Nalayini, continued
with Smt. Rahini Muralitharan and Smt. Inthumathi Kanesanligam in Sri
Lanka. She has taken part in all annual programmes and dance dramas
produced by schools and temples in Srilanka. Since she arrived in London
her Diploma in bharathanatyam at Laxumi Kalalayam She received the title
“Nathiya Kalajothy” by the exam board Oriental Examination Board London
(OEBL). She is the director and founder of Niruththiyalyam (school of dance).
Her teaching began with just 2 children in 2009 and she has grown and has
been successfully training for more than 40 students. Herself and Her Students
have been performing at various places over the England. Shobika is a
performing artist, choreographer and teacher niruththiyalayam, UK.
