Description Of The Equipments.  Basketball-the main piece of equipment in the game is the basketball, you use it all throughout the game. Evolution Of The Basketball Traditionally, basketballs were made using a rubber bladder (like a very sturdy rubber balloon) sealed inside of a sewn leather case. Later, a cloth lining was added between the rubber and the leather to add strength. Rubbery bladders are produced by a liquid polymer composition containing an epoxy resin. Around 1920, there were formal leagues so they had to make uniforms for it. They first were made with quilted padded shorts and a wool jersey with the team's name.
