3. Air Pollution
• Air pollution in the cities and along the roads
increases air pollution. Smoking also harms
the air! By increasing traffic and increasing
industrialization, pollution has increased
dramatically in recent years. It is produced by
burning coal, oil and natural gas.
5. Environmentally Plaques
Environmentally plaques are stickers for our cars. It shows which pollutant
group a car has.
In Germany there are 3 different groups with different colors: Red, yellow
and green.
The red one means, that your car don’t have a particulate filter and your
car is old. So it isn’t healthy for the environment.
The Yellow one means, that you have newer car, but without a filter too but
it‘s
better than a red one.
And the green one means that your car has a regulated catalyst, which is the
best for the environment, or a good filter.
In most of the German cities are signs which show what color you plaques
must have. If you don’t have the right plaque, you can’t drive into the zone.
If you do it nevertheless, you have to pay 40€
7. Recycling
• Most of German people separate their
Rubbish at home. They separate Plastic,
Paper and residual rubbish. Plastic comes
into a yellow bag and paper comes into an
extra bin. Separating is better for Recycling.
Things like Plastic bottles have a special sign
with shows you, that the object can be
recycled. The three arrows form a green
circle.
