In March 2014, the participant represented Red Bull in the Ultra Racing Philippines, starting in 9th place and moving up to 6th. However, he lost focus when he became overconfident and missed the mandatory pit stop. With only 4 laps left and worn tires, he crashed into other cars and his car caught on fire. Though he escaped through the broken window with scratches and a fractured ankle, he has given up racing and is now focusing on school.
1. Year 2014 March 15, the Ultra Racing
Philippines was held together with my
name on the list of participants. I
represented the RED BULL Brand on that
race and I am #64 on that race riding on
a Nissan Skyline GTT R34.
Later on, the race started and I am on the
9th place among the 20 participants. As far
as I am focused, I am currently on the 6th
place and I am doing good as my coach said
to me.
Suddenly, I lost my focus because I felt that I
am overconfident that I will win it no matter
what happens
As I lost my focus, I didn't noticed that I passed the PIT STOP
which is important for the car's performance.
I am so nervous, I didn't know what to do. 4 laps left and my
tires are getting to loose which made me slipped on the road
and crashed with the other cars. The car got burned and its
front bumper is broken.
I can't get off in the car because the door is broken so I fit in
myself in the window in order to be away from it
Luckily, I succeed to go away from the other cars
but my suit is burned. I had many scratches and
scrape which I obtained in the car but I am lucky
that I am alive. After the incident, we went to the
hospital to make sure that I have no injuries. I
obtained a fractured bone on my ankle which made
me stop in racing.
I promised myself not to participate again. I
had my lessons learned. Now, I am just a kid
who hangs out and studies.
