.1 Model Malam (Wax)
1. Siapkan model malam dengan memotong sesuai ukuran yang diperlukan.
2. Dengan menggunakan bantuan lampu spiritus, sesuaikan bentuk wax dengan
cetakan.
FLASKING
1. Olesi dinding cuvet dengan vaselin tipis saja.
2. Isi cuvet dengan adonan tipe II hingga penuh, getarkan diatas vibrator.
3. Model malam ditanamkan dalam cuvet, permukaan model malam rata dengan
gips.
4. Cobakan cuvet atas sebelum adonan mengeras.
5. Setelah adonan gips pada cuvet bawah mengeras permukaan gips diolesi vaselin.
6. Pasangkan cuvet atas, kemudian isi dengan adonan gips tipe II, getarkan diatas
vibrator.
7. Pasang tutup cuvet atas, kemudian dipress hingga rapat (metal to metal), sekrup
dikencangkan.
8. Tunggu sampai adonan gips mengeras
9. WAX ELIMINATION
1. Didihkan air dengan suhu lebih kurang 100°C.
2. Celupkan cuvet yang diikat tali, tunggu lima
menit.
3. Angkat cuvet, buka, keluarkan cairan malam.
4. Bersihkan mold space dengan menyiramnya
dengan air panas yang
dicampur detergen.
5. Bersihkan juga cuvet atas.
10. 2 Basis Gigi Tiruan
PACKING
1. Siapkan mold space tepi gips yang di bevel.
2. Olesi permukaan mold space dengan Cold Mold Seal dengan menggunakan kuas.
3. Tunggu hingga kering.
4. Siapkan monomer didalam mangkok/cawan porselen.
5. Masukkan bubuk polimer sedikit demi sedikit sampai terlihat seperti pasir basah dan
getarkan mangkok tersebut (kelebihan monomer akan naik ke permukaan).
6. Taburi lagi polimer sampai tidak ada kelebihan monomer.
7. Bila telah mencapai fase dough stage, ambil seluruh adonan dengan menggunakan
semen spatula dan letakkan dalam mold space. Lapisi permukaan dengan keras
cellophane.
8. Pasang cuvet atas beserta tutupny, lakukan pengepresan ringan (jarak antar cuvet 2
mm)
9. Buka cuvet atas dan buang kelebihan adonan.
10. Lakukan sampai cuvet “metal to metal” kontak.
11. Lihat apakan ada porus. Bila ada bagian tersebut ditusuk dengan sonde dan dilapisi
monomer.
12. Bila tidak ada lagi kelebihan akrilik dan porus dapat dilakukan pengepresan akhir,
kertas cellophane dilepas.
13. Pasang sekrup dan lakukan pres akhir.
11. CURING
1. Rebus air dalam panci.
2. Masukkan cuvet.
3. Setelah mendidih kembali biarkan selama 20 menit.
4. Cuvet diangkat, tunggu 10 menit.
DEFLASKING
1. Sekrup dibuka tutup cuvet dibuka.
2. Lepaskan cuvet bawah dengan cara mengetuk bagian dasar cuvet.
3. Bongkar secara hati-hati.
