A series of plant experiments were conducted with the following conclusions: 1) A plant cannot grow without roots as roots are needed to absorb water for the plant to live. 2) A seed soaked in just water will start molding and need to be thrown out as it cannot properly grow. 3) Flowers placed in colored water do not live long and may change color, as colored water is not a suitable environment for flowers to grow healthily.

2. Question: Will a plant grow with no roots?Conclusion:-I.C. – The plant is not living because there are no roots and the roots take the water for the plant.- M.W. – The plant will not grow because the roots can not drink water.

3. Question: Will a seed grow with just water?Conclusion: It is molding and I think I need to throw it out.

4. Question: Will a flower grow in coloured water?Conclusions:J.P. – Flowers don’t live long in coloured water.S.N. – It doesn’t live very long. Sometimes the flower will change colour.
