This document outlines Jacqueline Tan's practicum plan for the spring 2015 semester at the United Way of Denton (UWD). Her overall goal is to serve the community as a tax return preparer. She will attend orientation at UWD to learn about their mission and objectives. Then she will take training sessions and exams to become certified as a VITA tax preparer. Once certified, she will perform tax returns for clients at VITA sites from January to April, assisting families and answering questions. Additionally, she will work on a practicum project from February to April that could benefit UWD or the community, potentially collaborating with other UNT interns.

3. Meet with mentor, Mr. Montoya, whenever needed for advising on questions for
the exams.
