A2 media film pitch;

                                     An OrganicProductions Originalshort

A film noir set in a futuristic dystopia.
Storyline – Archetype, a
            gritty crime noir

ď‚™
                                 ď‚–
A young man sat alone in an all night diner, a trilby on his head
and a steaming cup of coffee at his table. He sits alone reading
the news paper/or an iPad. A voice over begins and he explains he’s
been dragged into a life of crime by a women he is obsessed with.
As his voice over talks we see a young woman walking past the
window of his booth, his eyes follow her as she walks into the
diner and his voice over stops. The young woman is dressed in a
trench coat. (a classic femme fatale) she sits in a booth opposite
him and they nod at each other, faces stern.
ď‚™ With that she stands and puts her hand into a pocket, we see the
tip of a gun. She moves over to the counter slow and confident
before threatening the waitress, at first the waitress disagrees
and causes a stir. The male stands abruptly and knocks the table
back in a threatening way and throws his hand into his pocket and
producing the tip of a gun. The waitress then agrees and hands all
the money from the till. The femme fatale leaves the diner with a
smug face and the male slowly follows after. They join in the
streets at the end of a dark alley-way and embrace before slowly
walking into the horizon both holding the gun between the two of
    them.
ď‚–
 Characters: we’ll preferably need three actors;
A femme fatale, A male and a waitress.

 Actors: we’ve got a possible actor to play our
male and are using the various websites to
  search for other actors.

ď‚™ Location: an all night diner/bar. We could use
an old café or a chain fast food store like
  McDonalds or Burger King.

Influences.
              ď‚–
ď‚™ The things that we as a group have been
influenced by are the 1940’s visual styling’s
along with the themes that run throughout the
short such as crime and romance.

ď‚™ Another thing that influenced us was the
futuristic style of the setting though we most
likely wont use this in our short film.
Contingency plan and
          costs.
ď‚™ Back up:
                           ď‚–
 Location: if we don’t get permission to film in a diner or
café we plan on changing the story slightly and having it
set in a park or a small shop.

 Actors: we’ll ask several actors to star in our film and
use some as back-ups and under-studies.

ď‚™ Costs:
 Props: we’ve set a budget of £50 for costume and props
most of which can be purchased from charity shops or from
our own wardrobes. Though we may have to put more in for
the mis-en-scene such as the 1940’s styling.

 Actors: We’ve agreed that if asked we’ll pay for the
  actors travel etc. and food.
