PIMA is a non-profit Islamic medical association in Pakistan with over 3,400 members. It aims to uphold Islamic values and principles in the medical field. PIMA provides extensive relief efforts during natural disasters, operating hospitals and mobile clinics. It has responded to floods, earthquakes, and conflicts in Pakistan, Indonesia, Gaza, Somalia and elsewhere. PIMA is organized with local branches and projects led by specialist doctors. Major activities include medical camps, health promotion, nutrition programs, and two ongoing hospitals in Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
